3. Compilation of "Pengzhou Chronicles".

In the fourth year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty (1104), Luo Wei compiled the "Pengzhou Chronicles" (five volumes), which has been lost. Luo Wei (about 1056-1124), the word domain old, a native of Shaxian County, Fujian, Song Xining nine years (1076) Jinshi, successively served as Fuzhou manager, Chuzhou Justice, Langzhong of the Ministry of War, secretary and young eunuch, Chongning period (1102-1106), the suburbs of Kyoto "Biyong" (Tai School Building) was completed, the court officials were ordered to compose lyrics for the celebration, Luo Wei made the first, into the official first, as the right Wendian to repair the identity of Luzhou, Fuzhou and other places of the governor. Article 69 of the "Guangji of Shuzhong" contains: "Pengzhou Chronicles" (five volumes), written by the secretary and young eunuch Jian Menluo Terant, Fan 15 Gates, Chongning four years preface."

Fourth, the compilation and collation of Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles".

Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" was compiled and repaired by Wu Deqi and Xu Tai in the thirteenth year of Ming Zhengde (1518). In the ninth year of Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty (1829), when Hong Yunkai edited the "Pengzhou Chronicles", he said: "If you want to take the state chronicles to examine the reason for its rise and fall, then you will not be able to write the chronicles" ("Pengzhou Chronicles, Preface"). In the twenty-third year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1897), when Fang Xu compiled the "Pengzhou Chronicles", he also said in the preface: "Ming Wu Deqi tried to edit ten volumes, and when Hong Yun opened the chronicles, he had already asked for his book, and his que was also long!" In 1984, Jiang Mingshan, deputy director of the Peng'an County Local Chronicles Office, found out that Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province collected Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" in a bookstore in Chengdu. The county local office sent people to Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province to find out, because this book is already a cultural relic, can not be borrowed, only from the slide projection roughly copied a few pages, regretfully returned.

In 2007, when Peng'an County commemorated the 1,500th anniversary of the founding of Xiangru County, Ma Guodong, deputy director and deputy editor of the City and County Chronicles Division of the Sichuan Provincial Local Chronicles Compilation Committee, and deputy editor-in-chief of the Sichuan Provincial Chronicles, donated a photocopy of Ming Zhengde's Pengzhou Chronicles published by Shanghai Bookstore purchased from the Internet to the Peng'an County Sima Xiangru Research Association.

In October 2012, Zhao Zhengming, consultant of the county local chronicle office and former director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, submitted to the county government the "Proposal on Sorting Out and Reprinting the Earliest Existing County Chronicles of Peng'an - Ming Zhengde's Pengzhou Chronicles". According to the "Proposal", Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" is the earliest existing county chronicle in Peng'an, a precious local historical and cultural heritage, and an important evidence for Peng'an to study and publicize Sima Xiangru's hometown. Ma Guodong's "Pengzhou Chronicles" presented to the Peng'an County Sima Xiangru Research Association is the only book in the county, and it is not easy to come by. To study and confirm that Peng'an County is Sima Xiangru's hometown, it is necessary to rely on historical records and historical sites and relics. Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" record this, can be described as ironclad evidence, such as the record of Pengzhou from Yunshan (Yanshanzhai) to Xiangru County Sima Xiangru ancestral hall of the left Jianzhou Bureau, the end of the Yuan Dynasty military destruction; It records the historical reasons why Jingxian Hall listed Sima Xiangru as the head of the "village sages"; It records the historical facts of the construction and reconstruction of the Changqing Temple and the specific location of the Changqing Temple; It contains some poems about Sima Xiangru's hometown, some of which have been discovered for the first time. Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" is of great value for the study and publicity of Peng'an County as Sima Xiangru's hometown, and it is recommended that the county government agree to take the lead of the county local chronicle office to sort out and reprint Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles".

In December 2012, the county local government office hired Deng Yuzhang to be responsible for the school and sorting. Deng Yuzhang consulted the relevant old chronicles, punctuated, errata, and annotated the original text, arranged the table of contents, and wrote the preface "The Value of Ming Zhengde's Pengzhou Chronicles". Jin Shengyang, a professor at the School of History and Culture of China West Normal University, reviewed the proofreading manuscript.

In October 2015, Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" (point school version) was published by China Literature and History Publishing House, with a total of 400,000 words, consisting of three parts: the preface "The Value of Ming Zhengde's Pengzhou Chronicles", the text and the photocopy of the original book.

On July 20, 2016, Peng'an County held a symposium on the distribution of Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles". Ma Xiaobin (first from right), director of the Provincial Local Affairs Office, presented the "Pengzhou Chronicles" to the participants.

Feng Wenguang, former chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, former secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu University of Technology, and consultant of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, made a keynote speech. He said that the republication of Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" is of great significance: First, it has a high status, it is the earliest and most complete chronicle in the whole of Sichuan, and it can be linked with the study of the Ming Dynasty in the whole country. Second, the academic value is great, and the historical materials in it provide detailed information for the study of Peng'an in the Ming Dynasty, which has laid the foundation for the development of tourism in Peng'an. It is suggested that Peng'an County should use Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" to do four things: first, use Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" to make friends and expand its influence, which can be linked with the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Palace Museum in Taipei and universities and scientific research institutions related to the study of the history of the Ming Dynasty, so as to develop Peng'an culture and economy. The second is to integrate into Nanchong, dislocation development, and restore and rebuild the "Ming City". The third is the whole territory planning, urban and rural linkage, with the same old city as the center, the Ming Zhengde period of the seven townships together, moreover, you can also dig deeper, carefully search, to create a number of scenic spots in the Ming Dynasty of Peng'an, drive the development of tourism in Peng'an. The fourth is to dig deep into the connotation, package the brand, and expand the popularity of Peng'an.

China Social Science Network, Sichuan News Network, Sichuan Online, "Nanchong Daily", "Nanchong Evening News" and other news media reported on the publication symposium of Ming Zhengde's "Pengzhou Chronicles" (point school-based).
