On May 10, the CPPCC of the Evenki Autonomous Banner carried out a supervised consultation and investigation with the theme of "Promoting the Construction of the 'Three Norths' Project and Strengthening the Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Desertification". Shan Baoyu, member of the party group and vice chairman of the CPPCC Banner, members of the CPPCC Banner, heads of relevant departments such as the United Front Work Department participated in the investigation.
The research team successively came to the Banner Water Conservancy Bureau and the Meteorological Bureau to conduct field investigations. Listened to the detailed report of the Flag Water Conservancy Bureau on the status of water resources, total control, drought and ecological water management, visited the observation equipment and business platform of the Meteorological Bureau, understood the impact of climate change on desertification prevention and control, and listened to the work report of the Flag Meteorological Bureau in the meteorological guarantee of desertification prevention and control.
After listening to the report, the research team pointed out that the "Three Norths" project and desertification prevention and control are the key tasks of ecological security and national sustainable development, and all departments should strengthen cooperation, focus on the problems put forward to ensure that the problems are accurate, practical and operable, and provide strong support for the formulation of scientific and effective prevention and control measures.
At the meeting, the participants discussed how to use meteorological information to improve the prevention and control effect, how to better use water resources to promote desertification prevention and control, strengthen the conservation and utilization of water resources, and ensure the demand for ecological water.
