As one of the three major sewage areas in the central city of Shanghai, the Zhuyuan sewage area covers an area of about 335 square kilometers and serves a population of about 6 million people. After the completion of the project, the mixed water of dry flow sewage and rain and sewage transferred from the central urban area will be treated to meet the needs of matching the trunk transmission capacity with the terminal treatment capacity.

The construction content of the fourth phase of the Zhuyuan Sewage Treatment Plant includes a new sewage treatment plant with a scale of 1.2 million m³/d, a sludge dewatering and drying plant with an average scale of 120 tDS/d (peak scale of 180 tDS/d), and an inlet and outlet water main pipe of the sewage treatment plant with a total length of about 5.1km and a pipe diameter of φ4000~3000mm, etc., with a construction cost of about 7 billion yuan and a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan.

Shanghai Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant

Shanghai Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant is located in the east of Heqing Town, Pudong New Area, east of the Yangtze River, west of Suitang River, north of Zhangjiabang, south of the current vacant land, north of the north of the open space, north to the south of the length of about 2.2~2.5km, east to west width of about 1.0~1.4km, a total area of 254.37hm2.

Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant was built in 1999 and is an important part of the second phase of Shanghai's sewage treatment project. When it was first built, it was a pretreatment plant with a scale of 1.72 million m³/d, with coarse and fine grids and grit tanks, which were discharged into the Yangtze River after removing suspended garbage and sand. The designed daily treatment capacity of Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant is 2.8 million m³/d, and the effluent implements the (GB18918-2002) "Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" Class A discharge standard, with an annual sewage treatment volume of about 1.1 billion m³ and an annual COD reduction of more than 280,000 tons, accounting for about one-third of Shanghai's emission reduction, making great contributions to the reduction of water pollutants in Shanghai.

With the continuous advancement of the transformation of rain and sewage mixing in Shanghai, the treatment of black and odorous water bodies, and the functional adjustment of the sewage treatment plant in the service area, the water inflow of the Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant is increasing day by day. It is urgent to expand the Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant again to ensure that the effluent is stable and up to standard, and to reduce the water pollution of the Yangtze River.

The Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion Phase III Project is located at the existing sludge landfill in the Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant area, and the project content mainly includes three parts:

(1) Treatment and disposal of 800,000 tons (about 80% water content) of sludge in the current sludge landfill of Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant;

(2) a new wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 700,000 m³/d;

(3) New sludge treatment and disposal facilities with a scale of 112tDS/d and related supporting facilities.

According to the "Feasibility Study Report on the Expansion of the Third Phase of Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant", the total investment is 682261 million yuan, of which the project cost is 606068 million yuan, the other construction costs are 437.04 million yuan, and the preparatory cost is 324.89 million yuan.

Hangzhou Qige Sewage Treatment Plant

Hangzhou Qige Sewage Treatment Plant Project is one of the "Five Ten Billion Yuan" projects in Zhejiang Province, with a total investment of over 4.3 billion yuan in the fourth phase and a designed daily treatment scale of 1.5 million m³/d. Qige Sewage Treatment Plant is the largest urban domestic sewage treatment plant in Hangzhou, which is responsible for more than 95% of the domestic sewage treatment capacity in the main urban area of Hangzhou.

The Qige Sewage Treatment Plant is mainly responsible for sewage treatment in the northern area of Hangzhou and Xiasha Economic Development Zone. The main treatment equipment of the sewage treatment plant is divided into the first, second, third and fourth phases, of which the first phase of the project has a sewage treatment capacity of 400,000 m³/d, the second phase of the project has a sewage treatment capacity of 200,000 m³/d, the third phase has a sewage treatment capacity of 600,000 m³/d, and the fourth phase of the project has a sewage treatment capacity of 300,000 m³/d, with a total treatment capacity of 1.5 million m³/d.

The four phases of the project are all using the mature AAO+ deep bed filter technology. The project is located in the east of Liede Village, Tianhe District, on the north bank of the Pearl River of South China Bridge, covering an area of 39hm2, with a total sewage treatment capacity of 1.2 million m³/d, completed in four phases, and at the same time 8 off-site supporting lifting pumping stations, covering most of the downtown areas north of the Pearl River forewaterway, with a service area of 141.5 square kilometers and a service population of about 2.13 million people.

Chengdu No. 9 Water Reclamation Plant is the largest water reclamation plant in southwest China, with a total design scale of 1 million tons per day, a service area of about 195 square kilometers, and a population of 6 million people. Among them, 300,000 m³/d per day is used as reclaimed water, which is mainly used to replenish water to Qingshui River, Jincheng Lake and other rivers and lakes in Chengdu. The project was completed in two phases, the first phase has a design scale of 700,000 m³/d per day, started in 2011 and was completed and put into operation in 2014, mainly used to build the first and second sewage treatment plants that have been demolished; The second phase of the project, with a design capacity of 300,000 m³/d per day, started construction in 2013 and was completed and put into operation in 2015. At present, the project is being upgraded and will be completed soon.

After the upgrading and transformation of the ninth plant, the treatment capacity remains unchanged, but two new process treatment units will be added, and the most mainstream high-density sedimentation tank + denitrification filter treatment process will be adopted. The three-stage treatment process of multi-mode AAO+long-fiber filter + ultraviolet disinfection/chlorine disinfection was adopted before the upgrading and transformation, and the AAO+ high-density sedimentation tank + denitrification filter + ultraviolet disinfection/chlorine disinfection process was adopted after the upgrading and transformation.

Zhengzhou New District Sewage Treatment Plant

The second phase of Zhengzhou New Area Sewage Treatment Plant is located in Yaojia Town, Zhongmu County, covering an area of 389.61 acres, and the service scope includes Wangxinzhuang sewage system, Zhengzhou International Logistics Park system and Zhongmu and Cultural and Creative Park group systems.

The construction content of the project is 350,000 tons/day sewage treatment facilities, the first phase of 650,000 m³/d scale upgrading and transformation, and 1,000 t/d sludge treatment facilities, and the main indicators of effluent meet the class III standard of river surface water. After the completion of the project, it will become the first million-ton sewage treatment plant in the Central Plains, marking a new level of sewage and sludge treatment capacity in Zhengzhou and effectively improving the water ecological environment of Zhengzhou.

At the beginning of April 1994, the trial operation of sewage treatment was successful, the treatment effect met the design requirements, and the effluent quality exceeded the national discharge standard at that time, and finally realized the expected benefits of the project.

Gaobeidian sewage treatment plant is a key environmental protection project to solve the pollution of Tonghui River, it is the largest sewage treatment plant in China at that time, advanced process equipment, its service scope includes the old city and the eastern suburbs of the industrial zone, with a total area of 96 square kilometers, its completion makes 1/4 of Beijing's urban sewage treatment.

The second phase of the Gaobeidian Sewage Treatment Plant started in 1995 and was completed and put into operation at the end of 1999, expanding the treatment capacity to 1 million m³/d. Due to its results, the plant is regarded as one of the most efficient facilities in the world for chemically enhanced primary wastewater treatment. The sewage treatment plant was fully put into use in 2001, the dosing agent is ferric chloride and polymer, the treatment process can remove about 80% of the suspended solids and 70% of the BOD in the sewage, the treatment standard reaches SS<55mg/L, BOD5<75mg/L, and the treated effluent will be discharged in the western waters of Victoria Harbour through the deep-sea discharge pipeline.
