Specifically, Sunny Optical Technology's shipments in April showed that its core business, mobile phone lenses, shipped 102 million pieces in the month, a year-on-year increase of 6.4% and a month-on-month decrease of 9.8%; The number of mobile phone camera modules was 45.683 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1% and a month-on-month increase of 9%.
It can be seen that although the performance of the above two business indicators of Sunny Optical Technology is somewhat differentiated, it can still be seen that the company's overall sales are rebounding.
This point, in another optical track leader Qiu Ti Technology (01478. HK) is also reflected in the shipment data for the month.
In April, the total number of camera modules sold by Q Technology was 41.564 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 39.2% and a month-on-month increase of 9.6%. Among them, the sales volume of mobile phone camera modules was 40.807 million pieces, an increase of 39.2% year-on-year and 10.8% month-on-month.
Qiu Ti Technology explained that the sales volume of camera module products increased month-on-year, mainly due to the rebound of customer project cycle and smartphone market demand, as well as the good business development of mid-to-high-end camera module products.
It can be seen that after a long adjustment period in the smartphone market, the industry chain leaders are slowly ushering in spring driven by new machines such as Huawei Mate60 and Xiaomi 14.
