If you think this scene is a bit magical, don't make a fuss, this ruddy shelduck family and people are not only old acquaintances, they also have a common home - Qinhuangdao.

In the Peninsula Park area of Qinhuangdao Harbor District, many citizens know that during the migratory bird migration season, a pair of ruddy shelducks will come to the lake surface of the park, build a nest, give birth, live for a while, and then fly south, so that the cycle has been meeting for 6 years.
The pair have attracted the attention of many bird lovers and photographers, including Yu Quanli, who lives near Peninsula Park. This year, the Ruddy Shelduck "couple" started their journey a little later than usual, and they have not been seen throughout the spring. It wasn't until 10 May that he heard from them in a phone call.

"Quick! Old Yu, the ruddy duck came, but it landed in front of a pharmacy, and it looked like it was lost! At 6 o'clock in the morning of the 10th, neighbor Qu Yuanfeng called Yu Quanli and asked him to help a group of ruddy ducks.
Yu Quanli immediately came to the front of the pharmacy and saw that there were 10 newborn ducklings next to the pair of ruddy shelducks, standing on the high steps in front of the door, a little overwhelmed. He immediately posted the news to the WeChat group of the Qinhuangdao Bird Watching Association, where he was located.
When passing through the intersection, everyone was nervous.
Soon, four or five members of the association, including Wang Lifen, rushed over, and everyone thought that the ruddy shelduck might have nested on the roof this year, and then took the ducklings down one by one. Because it's a few hundred meters away from Peninsula Park, and there are a few intersections to get to the park's lake area, which is difficult for newborn ducklings to do, so a few bird lovers decided to lead the ruddy Shelduck family back to the familiar park.
But what people didn't expect was that they thought it would not be easy to gain the trust of the ruddy duck "couple", but when they saw people approaching, they only called a few times vigilantly, and began to follow the ducklings away.
When they got to the park, the ruddy shelduck seemed to be starting to recognize the way.
"Do you need help? Come with us, okay? I'll show you some points at the intersection! Yu Quanli, Wang Lifen and others slowed down, some people opened the way in front, some people guarded the ducklings not to get separated, and they kept talking to them, and the ruddy shelduck "couple" also quacked, as if responding to people.
After passing through the intersections and walking through the winding paths, there were citizens stopping to join the duck protection team along the way, and after half an hour, the Ruddy Shelduck family finally followed the people to the entrance to the park.
After entering the water, the Ruddy Shelduck family lingered around the people for a long time.
The surroundings became familiar, and the ducks quickly found the lake in the center of the garden and jumped into the water one by one. Only a little ruddy shelduck left behind, Yu Quanli picked it up, caught up with the "big army", the duckling "plopped" into the water and returned to the team, and a family of 12 neatly found a home that greets them with a beautiful environment every year.
"Go, go, take the kids and play!" People waved their hands by the lake, and the Ruddy Shelduck family also lingered and did not leave, nodding in the direction of everyone from time to time. After a while, the water waves swam towards the lake under the shade of green willows.
