After the flag-awarding ceremony, the county veterans affairs bureau organized forestry experts to give lectures and carry out on-the-spot skills training, striving to make each team member become a "soil expert" from a "layman" of Cooper protection, and give full play to the organizational, physical and professional advantages in volunteer service activities. "The Jiange County Veterans Protection Cooper Volunteer Service Team will further enhance its professional skills and capabilities, better serve the work of Cooper protection, and extend the grand scene of '300 long-distance 100,000 trees' to all generations." Li Dabo, director of the Jiange County Veterans Affairs Bureau, said.

At present, there are a total of 7,778 ancient cypress trees in the Jiange section of Cuiyun Corridor, with an average age of more than 1,050 years. In order to make the ancient cypress of Cuiyun Corridor evergreen, in recent years, Jiange County has continuously innovated the "new model" of ancient cypress protection in Shudao, and established the "Jiange Veteran" ancient cypress protection volunteer service team last year, with a service corps, 9 service teams, a total of 100 members, all of which are voluntarily participated by retired soldiers from towns and towns along the Cuiyun Corridor. The volunteer service team strictly implements the regulations on logging, fire and grazing in Gübelin District to ensure that there is no fire risk, no insect pests, no drought, no lodging and no hidden dangers in the volunteer service area, and uses practical actions to protect the healthy growth of Cooburgin.
