In order to celebrate the 113th International Nurses Day, further promote and inherit the spirit of Nightingale, and fully stimulate the enthusiasm of the hospital's nursing workers to serve the people wholeheartedly, on the afternoon of May 10, 2024, Xixian Maternal and Child Health Hospital held a grand publicity activity on the theme of 5.12 International Nurses Day in the conference room on the fifth floor of the Administration Building. More than 70 people attended the meeting, including the hospital's leadership team and the nursing staff of the hospital (except for the staff on duty). The meeting was presided over by Zhu Zhongmin, deputy secretary of the party branch and vice president of the hospital. Twenty-three individuals were recognized for their outstanding nursing performance.

In his speech, Sun Niansheng, director of the supervision office of the hospital, extended holiday greetings and blessings to the nurses of the hospital who are working the medical front. He fully affirmed the efforts and achievements of the nursing staff in the hospital in the past year. He said that all the nursing staff of the hospital are not afraid of hardships and work day and night in ordinary jobs, interpret the sacredness and greatness of nursing work with exquisite technology and high-quality service, practice the spirit of Nightingale with practical actions, and make great contributions to the construction and development of the hospital and the physical and mental health of the people.
Yi Ling, secretary of the party branch and president of the hospital, delivered a speech. First of all, on behalf of the entire leadership team of the hospital, she extended holiday blessings and high respect to the nursing workers of the hospital. She pointed out that in the past year, the nursing staff of the hospital have made unremitting efforts for the health of patients with warm smiles, careful care, exquisite technology and rigorous attitude.
