The special inspection is mainly aimed at optical stores in residential areas and around campuses, focusing on the inspection of contact lenses, care products and other medical devices related to the prevention and treatment of juvenile myopia sold in optical stores, mainly to check whether they have legal business qualifications, whether the source of the products is legal, whether they operate without qualified certificates, and expired and invalid medical devices. At the same time, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on the Supervision and Inspection Plan for Drug (Medical Device) Licensing (Filing) in 2024" issued by the Municipal Bureau, an on-site inspection was carried out on the licensing of optical stores operating Class III medical devices to check whether the licensing conditions of the enterprise meet the licensing requirements; Whether on-site verification has been carried out where on-site verification should be carried out.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers found that some optical stores had problems such as incomplete purchase inspection records of medical devices and storage conditions that did not meet the requirements. For the problems that arise in the inspection, the optical store is required to rectify it immediately, and follow up and supervise the rectification.
In this inspection, a total of 36 law enforcement officers were dispatched, 21 business households were inspected, 8 Class III medical device business licenses were randomly inspected, and rectification notices were issued to 4 business households. At the same time, law enforcement officers also publicized laws and regulations to the employees of optical stores, improved their awareness and operation skills of medical devices, and enabled them to better provide consumers with professional matching suggestions and guidance.
