According to media in Taiwan Province of China on May 8, the Taroko 408th of the Taiwan Provincial Railway was accidentally overturned in a tunnel in April 2021, and the remains of some of the victims were not found in the carriage until 2023 by the victims' family group (Taroko Tears).
