In order to further promote the fire safety awareness of residents in the jurisdiction, enhance the skills of fire prevention, fire extinguishing and evacuation, and improve the ability of self-defense and self-rescue and disposal of fire hazards, on May 8, Xijing Community, Wenyinghu Street, Pingcheng District, Datong City, and Datong Science and Technology Association jointly carried out fire protection activities.
During the event, the instructors of Zhong'an Fire Service Center brought a feast of fire safety to the residents of Xijing community with rich content and vivid form. The instructor combined pictures, texts and videos to deeply analyze the typical cases of various fire accidents, so that the residents have a more intuitive understanding of the hazards of fire. At the same time, he also explained in detail the theoretical knowledge of fire safety, self-defense and self-rescue measures and other key contents, so that residents can master the basic methods of dealing with fires.
In addition, the instructors also taught the residents the correct fire extinguishing methods for different scenarios such as electrical appliances fires, kitchen fires, and vehicle fires. Through the simulation drill, the residents experienced first-hand the tense atmosphere of fire escape and learned the skills of using fire extinguishers for practical operation.
Through this activity, it not only enhanced the safety awareness and fire extinguishing ability of Xijing community residents, but also improved their resilience in the face of fire safety accidents such as fire.
