Temporary Traffic Control Notice
The "2024 Changzhou Economic Development Zone Oriental New Town Half Marathon" will be held on May 19, 2024 (Sunday). In order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition and the safe and smooth flow of roads during the competition, in accordance with the relevant provisions of relevant laws and regulations such as the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Road Traffic Safety Regulations of Changzhou City, temporary traffic control measures will be taken on some roads during the competition. The notice is as follows:

Changqingli Cultural Tourism Block (starting point) - Dongcheng Road - Dongfang East Road - Dingtanghe West Road - Wancheng North Road - Longcheng Avenue - Luheng Road - Changqing Road - Zhengcheng Road - Huafeng Road - Caoshang Road - Changqing Road - Xinhe Road - Xianxing Road - Yanling East Road - Daming Road - Caoshang Road - Huafeng Road - Dongfang 2nd Road - Changqingli Cultural Tourism Block (finish), with a total mileage of 21.0975 kilometers and a race time of about 3 hours.

Healthy Run
Changqingli Cultural Tourism Block (starting point) - Dongcheng Road - Luheng Road - Changqing Road - Economic Development Zone Cultural Activity Center (finish), with a total mileage of about 4.5 kilometers and a race time of about 2 hours.
PART 02
According to the needs of the starting and ending points of the race, from 14 o'clock on May 18 to the end of the next day, temporary traffic control measures will be taken on Dongfang 2nd Road (Changqing Road to Dongcheng Road), Zhengcheng Road (Changqing Road to Huafeng Road), and Kangning Road (Dongfang 2nd Road to Dongfang East Road) to prohibit social vehicles and pedestrians.
PART 03
From 6:30 a.m. on May 19 to the end of the control, temporary traffic control measures will be taken on relevant roads at different times and in different regions:
(1) At 6:30, temporary traffic control measures were taken on Dongcheng Road (Dongfang 2nd Road to Luheng Road) and Dingtanghe West Road (Dongfang East Road to Wancheng North Road) to prohibit motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Dongfang 2nd Road (Lianfeng Road to Dongcheng Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from west to east, Dongfang East Road (Dongcheng Road to Dingtanghe West Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from east to west, and social vehicles can bypass Daming Road, Laodong East Road, Zhongwu Avenue, Wuyi Road, and Longjin Road.
(2) At 6:50, half of Dingtanghe West Road (Wancheng North Road to Longcheng Avenue) was closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from south to north. Longcheng Avenue (Wancheng North Road to Daming Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from west to east, Longcheng Avenue elevated west to east Daming Road off-ramp social vehicles can turn right from Wancheng North Road to detour Qingyang Road, Yanling East Road, Zhongwu Avenue, Laodong East Road, or from Zhongwu Avenue or Qinglong West Road in advance, bypass Zhongwu Avenue, Qinglong West Road, Longjin Road. Luheng Road (Daming Road to Dongcheng Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from west to east. Luheng Road (Dongcheng Road to Changqing Road) is closed in both directions, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles, and social vehicles can bypass Wuyi Road, Xingdong Road and Longjin Road.
(3) At 7:10, Changqing Road (Luheng Road to Zhengcheng Road) and Huafeng Road (Caoshang Road to Dongfang 2nd Road) took temporary traffic control measures to prohibit motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Caoshang Road (Huafeng Road to Changqing Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from west to east. Changqing Road (Caoshang Road to Dingjian Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from north to south, and social vehicles can bypass Longjin Road, Daming Road, and Wuyi Road.
(4) At 7:30, Xinhe Road (Dingjian Road to Xianxing Road) and Xianxing Road (Xinhe Road to Yanling East Road) will take temporary traffic control measures to prohibit motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Yanling East Road (Xianxing Road to Daming Road) has adopted temporary traffic control measures to prohibit motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Daming Road (Yanling East Road to Caoshang Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from south to north. Caoshang Road (Daming Road to Huafeng Road) is half closed, prohibiting motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles from west to east, and social vehicles can bypass Laodong East Road, Zhongwu Avenue and Qingyang Road.
PART 04
All kinds of vehicles are prohibited from parking on the above-mentioned race roads, and it is forbidden to stack all kinds of items to ensure the normal progress of the race.
PART 05
Vehicles and pedestrians passing through the intersections along the race route must obey the command and management of the on-site duty personnel, and are not allowed to enter the race road at will, and it is forbidden to follow the athletes.
PART 06
Units and the general public along the race route should arrange the detour route in advance, and use buses, subways, walking, etc. as much as possible to avoid affecting normal work and life. For units or citizens with special travel needs in the event area, please contact the community in advance.
