The visit is of great significance, because the current global geopolitical situation can no longer be described as shocking, the game between China and the United States in the Western Pacific is deepening day by day, and it is imperative for the United States to pull in its allies to encircle China's economic strategy, the Russian-Ukrainian war has not yet ended, the situation in the Middle East is heating up, and the economic and trade problems between China and Europe have also been put in front of us. Therefore, the visit of the Chinese head of state to Europe is destined to be of greater significance than before.
In my opinion, this visit has mainly released three important signals: one is to balance the relationship between Europe and Russia and lay the foundation for a peaceful settlement of the next Russia-Ukraine war, the second is to hedge the risk of the United States and even Europe encircling China's advantageous industries, and minimize the impact of the United States' trade policy on China-EU economic and trade relations, and the third is to support France to lead Europe to "independence".
Macron
Some time ago, Macron shouted the slogan that NATO would send troops to Ukraine, and the logic behind this is not that Macron has eaten the bear's heart and leopard gall, and wants to take the entire NATO and Russia to fight to the death. But the Russian-Ukrainian war has posed a serious threat to the geopolitical security of Europe, and at that time, the balance of victory in the Russian-Ukrainian war has tilted to the side of Russia, and the United States has been unable to pass a new round of aid to Ukraine due to the dispute between the two parties.
Macron believes that the United States uses Europe's geopolitical security as a bargaining chip in internal partisanship, so it is better to rely on itself than on the United States, which is the key to Macron's shouting of this slogan. The second issue is China-EU trade. After the United States announced the ban on China's new energy electric vehicles, Europe is also actively taking action to launch anti-dumping investigations on 9 categories of products, including China's new energy electric vehicles, according to EU President von der Leyen, this move is to deal with China's so-called "overcapacity" to avoid dumping Chinese goods in Europe, they are to ensure "market fairness", so they take restrictive measures against China's new energy industry.
Sino-European trade
For China, the most important thing is not to let Europe open the door for China's new energy electric vehicles, but to cut off the tentacles of the United States' trade policy towards Europe. As we all know, the reason why Europe proposed an anti-dumping investigation on China's new energy electric vehicles is essentially under pressure and influence from the United States. The United States has imposed sanctions and suppressed China on the grounds that China is trying to break the new international order based on "rules", and Europe, as a follower of the United States, has also continued to contribute to the United States' policy of suppressing China, which is extremely obvious in trade with China.
Therefore, trade between China and France and between China and Europe is also the key to this trilateral summit between China, France and Europe. To put it mildly, now EU President von der Leyen has become a puppet of the United States and the European Union, and most of the EU's foreign strategy is part of the United States' global strategic deployment, which is not good news for the EU or China, because if the United States and Europe are united, it will greatly slow down China's rise.
