It is expected that from 14 o'clock on May 3 to 14 o'clock on the 4th, there will be heavy to heavy rain in central and eastern Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, southeastern Hubei, southern Anhui, central and northern Guangxi, central and northern Guangdong, among them, there will be heavy rain (100~150 mm) in parts of southern Hunan, central Jiangxi, northeast Guangxi, and northwest Guangxi. Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (the maximum hourly rainfall is 40~60 mm, and can exceed 70 mm locally), and there are strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds or hail locally.

It is expected that from 14 o'clock on May 3 to 14 o'clock on the 4th, there will be 8-10 thunderstorms and strong winds or hail in parts of central and southern Hunan, central and southern Guizhou, western Jiangxi, eastern Guangxi, and southeastern Guangxi, among which there will be thunderstorms and gales above level 10 in central Guizhou, central Hunan, and southeastern Guangxi, with maximum winds of up to 11; Some areas in the central and western parts of Guangdong will have short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rainfall greater than 20 mm, among which the maximum hourly rainfall in northern Guangxi, central and eastern Guizhou, and central and northern Hunan will be greater than 50 mm, and the maximum can reach more than 70 mm.
The main impact period of severe convection is expected to be from this afternoon to night.
