Henan issued a gale warning
Henan Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for high winds at 16:00 on May 14, 2024: It is expected that from 20:00 on the 14th to 20:00 on the 15th, most of the province will have northerly winds of 4 to 5 levels, with gusts of 8 to 9, including 10 levels in the west of Xinxiang, north of Jiaozuo, southwest of Zhengzhou, west of Xuchang, north of Pingdingshan, south of Sanmenxia, southwest of Luoyang, and northwest of Nanyang. Neighboring counties (cities, districts) in the above areas also need attention.
Defense Guidelines: 1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job of preventing strong winds in accordance with their duties;
2. The forest and urban fire prevention departments should make fire prevention preparations, and the traffic management departments such as airports, railways, and highways should take measures to ensure traffic safety;
3. Stop high-altitude and water outdoor operations and recreational activities, and reinforce or properly place hoardings, scaffolding billboards, simple facilities and other structures that are easily blown by strong winds;
4. Pedestrians and vehicles should not stay under temporary structures such as tall buildings, billboards, or trees.
