Knowing that Chinese athletes have performed well in women's BMX freestyle, Gu Jingyi hopes that these athletes will be able to travel from Shanghai to Paris, "I want to cheer them on in Shanghai!" Li Zhiyuan, also in Year 4, is trying BMX for the second time. He admits that he was a little timid last time, but this time he saw the "flyover" maneuvers performed by the coaches, and he hoped that he could do the same, "This time he was very proficient all of a sudden".
"The students are getting happier the more they ride, and they really feel happy. Huang Qin, principal of Luwan No. 2 Central Primary School in Huangpu District, Shanghai, revealed that in the context of welcoming the Olympic Qualifying Series in Shanghai, this is the second time that BMX has "ridden" the school, and the school encourages students in the fourth and fifth grades to sign up for bicycles to participate and experience safety in the protection of coaches, "We hope to stimulate students' interest in sports and enthusiasm for the Olympic Games through knowledge explanation, popularization and experience."
As a professional athlete who has won the Chinese BMX Freestyle Championship for 8 times, Shen Jian has participated, witnessed and worked hard to promote the development of BMX in China. He said that he hopes to stimulate children's interest in sports through the series of activities of BMX into the school, and also find some talented children through this opportunity, "I think there is no one who is not suitable for playing BMX, the key is to see the enthusiasm of the children and the professional support they receive."
