Starting from late April, HKRI Taikoo Hui will focus on the consumption proposition of trendy luxury and immerse the consumption experience with world culture, presenting special activities such as digital cultural tourism projects and coffee culture festivals, highlighting the charm of an international city and supporting the "55 Shopping Festival".

From 29 April to 3 May, HKRI Taikoo Hui Independent Market IP "Dare to Gather" cooperated with the 2024 Shanghai (Jing'an) World Coffee Culture Festival to jointly launch the "Jing'an" themed event, bringing together nearly 50 coffee and lifestyle brands, blending specialty coffee culture and urban life aesthetics to create an all-weather "coffee district" full of aroma, inviting consumers to "drink together" with diversified lifestyles.

Connecting coffee with more life inspiration, the Starbucks Reserve ® Shanghai Roastery will be unveiled as a theme pavilion to create an exclusive "Coffee Wonderland Outdoor Market", and the popular café SLAB TOWN will join hands with local trendy designer brands to present a cross-border coffee fashion scene.

Focusing on coffee culture, the main stage of HKRI Taikoo Hui North Plaza will also present a variety of activities such as coffee-themed sharing sessions, jazz performances, open-air films, art and craft workshops, etc., to awaken the beautiful moments of the city's cultural life. Consumers can also follow the guidance of the "Drink and Play" handbook to check in at special spots, collect coffee bean stamps and draw limited gifts. In addition, the Taste of Sweden session will be held at HKRI Taikoo Hui South Garden, showcasing the internationally renowned Swedish coffee philosophy in a unique Swedish market scene.

At the same time, in the face of the trend of accelerating the integration of culture, business and tourism, HKRI Taikoo Hui will continue to create internationally influential and market-leading events to meet consumers' higher expectations for quality life. On 26 April, following the conclusion of the phenomenal cultural tourism consumption project "The Vanishing Pharaoh", HKRI Taikoo Hui ushered in the Asian premiere of the second large-space virtual reality experience "The Age of Life" in the multi-purpose hall on Level 3, with the latest and upgraded digital technology, allowing visitors to embark on an adventure from 3.5 billion years ago to 2,220 years in the future with just a VR headset.

Introduced by Boxin Universe and co-produced by Excurio and the National Museum of Natural History of France, the production of "The Vanishing Pharaohs", this exhibition vividly shows the evolution of life in each major period since the birth of the earth after rigorous scientific research, and tells the magnificent epic of life. For the first time, the project will create an exploration experience based on China's local culture, carefully restoring the geological landscape of China during the Cambrian period, and welcoming visitors to witness and explore the mysteries of prehistoric China.

Throughout the month of May, HKRI Taikoo Hui will also launch nearly 15 diversified activities with tenant partners.
