Recently, a unique first-aid knowledge training activity was held in Hangzhou Road No. 1 Primary School. The Daqiao Street Children's Service Center and the science popularization team of Yangpu Shanxin Emergency Rescue Volunteer Service Center brought a fun feast of first aid knowledge to the teachers and students of the school, and the whole venue was full of laughter.
The event kicked off with the theme of "Color for Love, Save Around". At the scene, the volunteer lecturer used vivid language to introduce the emergency treatment methods in case of choking and suffocation. Under the first aid explanation of the lecturer, everyone's cooperation and participation were very high, some played the role of "little doctor", and some acted as "little nurse", carrying out correct first aid measures in the simulated scene, and each student carefully imitated the instructor's movements, revealing full seriousness and devotion in their eyes.
In addition, the lecturers also popularized the knowledge of drowning prevention and taught how to save themselves in the event of drowning. "If you are drowning, try your best to grab the floating objects on the surface and call for help," she said. If there are no floats on the surface, hold your breath and gently pluck the water with your limbs to float yourself up. At this time, you can breathe by stretching your head up vigorously and exposing your mouth and nose to the surface of the water. ”
When it comes to safety education, CPR is also an indispensable part. The instructor explained the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in simple terms, and demonstrated the steps of chest compressions, airway opening, and rescue breaths through hands-on demonstration.
At the end of the activity, the lecturer summarized what he had learned that day, emphasized the importance of first aid knowledge, and encouraged the students to be brave in case of emergency. Some students said, "Through today's training, I have learned how to properly rescue in an emergency, and I feel that I have become braver!" Another student said: "I used to be afraid of accidents, but now I know how to deal with them, and my heart is much more confident." ”
