On April 26, the Sichuan Provincial Association of Appropriate Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital jointly held the "Public Welfare Promotion Training Meeting of Appropriate Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and the "Clinical Experience Promotion Training Course for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Children's Respiratory Diseases by Famous and Old Chinese Medicine Pediatric Experts". Three nationally renowned Sichuan TCM pediatricians, Professor Diao Benshu, Chang Ke and Liao Pindong, gathered together to share their valuable academic experience with nearly 200 TCM medical workers in Sichuan, and explained the diagnosis and treatment of common TCM pediatric diseases from the perspective of appropriate TCM technology, which made many students from afar call "benefited a lot".
At the meeting, Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital was officially awarded the title of "Executive Director Unit of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Appropriate Technology Research Association", and the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine was awarded the title of "Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Appropriate Technology Research Association Traditional Chinese Medicine Appropriate Technology Inheritance and Promotion Base", which will contribute more to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese medicine appropriate technology in the future.
Chief TCM physician Diao Benshu, the heir to the academic experience of Wang Jing'an, a national famous old Chinese medicine expert and the first batch of old Chinese medicine experts in the country, is affectionately known as "Diao Xiaoer" by Chengdu people, and he brought a sharing entitled "How to Use Appropriate Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Improve the Clinical Efficacy of Pediatrics" to this conference.

Professor Chang Ke, a national famous old Chinese medicine expert, vice chairman of the Pediatric Special Committee of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and chairman of the Pediatric Special Committee of the Sichuan Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a visiting expert of Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital.

In addition, Feng Yue from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Fang Mingdong from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital also shared their clinical experience with the students, demonstrating the inheritance of the Sichuan School of Traditional Chinese Medicine thought, integrity and innovation.
During the training meeting, Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital also organized the first preparatory meeting of the Chengdu-Chongqing Maternal and Child Traditional Chinese Medicine Alliance, which was attended by representatives of more than 10 maternal and child health hospitals from Chengdu and Chongqing, as well as representatives of Ziyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital. The guests at the meeting expressed strong support for the establishment of the Chengdu-Chongqing Maternal and Child Traditional Chinese Medicine Alliance, and discussed the association's constitution, agreement and other related matters.
