On April 12, the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Dongsheng Public Security Bureau seized 1 cheating reference person in the full-score learning subject 1 theory test in the driver's license theory test organized by the Vehicle Management Office of the Equipment Manufacturing Base in Dongsheng District, and arrested all 3 suspects who organized cheating.

On the day of the test, Jia and his daughter-in-law Xu partnered to provide and help wear the cuff cheats such as micro earphones and Bluetooth boxes purchased by Jia's son online to Wang who took the test before the test, and provided answers for him through micro headphones outside the venue. Wang was found to have cheated in the exam and was discovered by the examiner on the spot, and the cheating equipment was confiscated.
At present, Wang and other 4 suspects have been taken compulsory measures by the Dongsheng police in accordance with the law, and the case is being further investigated.

[Organizing the crime of cheating in exams]
Whoever organizes cheating in a state examination prescribed by law shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or short-term detention and/or a fine; where the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years and shall also be fined. Where cheating equipment or other assistance is provided for others to commit the crimes in the preceding paragraph, punishment is to be given in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
[Crime of illegally selling or providing test questions and answers]
Whoever illegally sells or provides others with test questions or answers for the tests provided for in the first paragraph for the purpose of carrying out cheating on exams, is to be punished in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph.
[Substitution of examinations]
Those who take the examinations provided for in the first paragraph on behalf of others or have others take their place are to be sentenced to short-term detention or controlled release and/or a fine.
Article 88 of the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses
If the applicant conceals relevant information or provides false materials to apply for a motor vehicle driver's license, the applicant shall not apply for a motor vehicle driver's license again within one year. If the applicant commits bribery or fraud during the examination, the examination qualification shall be cancelled, and the results of other subjects that have passed the examination shall be invalid; the applicant shall not apply for a motor vehicle driver's license again within one year. If the applicant obtains a motor vehicle driver's license by fraud, bribery, or other improper means, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall confiscate the motor vehicle driver's license and revoke the locomotive driving license; the applicant shall not apply for a motor vehicle driver's license again within three years.

If the applicant commits bribery or malpractice in the course of the examination, the qualification for the examination shall be cancelled, the results of other subjects that have passed the examination shall be invalid, and the traffic management department of the public security organ shall impose a fine of not more than 2,000 yuan; the applicant shall not apply for a motor vehicle driver's license again within one year.
