On April 29, the 2024 Shenmu City Automobile Expo opened at Yingbin Square. Liu Xiaobo, member of the Standing Committee of the Shenmu Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor, announced the opening of the Auto Expo. Heads of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau, the Emergency Management Bureau, the Industry and Commerce Bureau, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and other departments were invited to attend the opening ceremony.
The auto expo attracted nearly 50 popular models from 14 brands such as Hongqi, Volkswagen, Toyota, BYD, Haval, Geely, Great Wall, and Trumpchi through the way of government platform, enterprise profits, and public benefits, providing citizens with a one-stop service of "looking at cars, selecting cars, comparing prices, and booking cars". The event will focus on exhibiting brands, exhibition specifications, exhibition services, supporting activities, publicity scope, etc., igniting the enthusiasm of offline consumption, so that Shenmu citizens can enjoy an unprecedented car purchase feast.
Since the beginning of this year, Shenmu City has insisted on giving priority to the recovery and expansion of consumption, strengthening policy guidance, optimizing platform carriers, focusing on key festivals, key industries and key products, focusing on stabilizing bulk consumption, promoting living consumption, releasing consumption potential, stimulating market vitality, boosting consumer confidence, and giving full play to the fundamental role of consumption in economic development.
