During the "World Book Day", the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Technology Cultural Exchange Center held a series of activities in Beijing, including "Happy Childhood, Public Reading", and at the same time carried out a number of public lectures with the theme of Soong Ching Ling's life story, calling on students to establish open reading thinking through various reading methods such as introduction, co-reading, listening, and communication, so as to bring children a warm and quiet reading experience, convey correct values, and let them form a correct outlook on life and the world. At the event site, areas such as "Story House", "Love House" and "Experience House" were set up to allow children to enjoy the joy of reading and pass on their love in interaction. It is well received by students and parents.

On April 21st, the public welfare theme activity of "Fucai Dream Fulfillment and Warm Children's Heart" was launched in Tianjin Guotu Jinwan Cultural and Creative Space. The activity lasted for one month, helping children from rural disaster-stricken families and children from needy families from Xinkou Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin to carry out visits, training, experiences, performances and other activities, and enter the intangible cultural heritage site and cultural and museum venues, so that children can broaden their horizons with knowledge, change their destiny with reading, and win the future with learning. The event was jointly sponsored by the Tianjin Welfare Lottery Distribution Center, the Municipal Children's Activity Center, the Peace League District Committee, and the West Youth League District Committee. At the launching ceremony, the organizers donated books and school supplies to the children, and carried out experiential activities such as reading recommendations, ancient book making, and woodblock New Year picture rubbing.

On April 21, the Civilization Office of Huaihua City, Hunan Province, the Volunteer Association, and the Municipal Veteran Cadres Education Activity Center, together with the Weiai Youth Service Center of Hecheng District, organized the public welfare little angels to carry out the reading activity of "Reading Lights Up Life", which drove and encouraged the public welfare little angels to read more and read good books, so that their hearts were more thorough and firm. Lang Lang from charity "reading"

Books are the crystallization of spirit and matter; Charity is the giving of material and spiritual.

During the "World Book Day", the MBA Program of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, together with the Zhejiang Xinhua Love Education Foundation, cooperated with Xiaohongshu to launch a special activity of "Reading from Little Red Book", helping to convey knowledge and love through offline "book for book" and online reading sharing, making World Book Day more meaningful. From April 20th to May 5th, Xiaohongshu has set up a number of "book-for-book" activity points in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and other places, where you can donate personal books to receive new books on the spot, as well as exquisite gifts such as Xiaohong's schoolbags and good books signed by the readers. The donated books collected by Xiaohongshu will be donated by the Xinhua Education Foundation to the partner schools of the "Pearl Picking Up Project", so that each book carrying the reader's emotion and wisdom will be delivered to rural middle schools in Guizhou, Yunnan, Qinghai and other places, illuminating the children's life journey, forming a transfer of knowledge, and becoming a part of changing their destiny.

It is understood that as an AAAAA-level public foundation, the Xinhua Education Foundation's "Pearl Recovery Program" has been launched in 2004 and has funded nearly 90,000 "pearl students" from 211 cooperative schools in 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country to go out of the mountains. The project has won the "China Charity Award", and the foundation has also won the "Top 5 Most Transparent Charity Foundations in China" and other honors.

On April 22, Beijing Lianjia and Beijing Leyu Charity Foundation launched the "Lianjia Western Warmth Plan" book donation month activity in nearly 1,400 stores in the city with the theme of "Reading Brightly Ignites Dreams". For a while, the city's Lianjia stores turned into a charity material donation point, practicing the original intention of public welfare and charity with actions.

At the site of the "Donation Month" event, dozens of community residents came to donate books and materials to dedicate love. The "Western Warmth Project" is a relay of love, which makes idle books "live", continuously releases the value of reading, and makes the concept of public welfare and charity deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and warms the society. Nearly 4,000 books were collected and donated, all of which will be sorted and sanitized by professional institutions, and finally safely reach the children in the western region. Since joining hands with the "Western Warmth Project" in 2021, Beijing Lianjia has used the store as the entrance to public welfare and charity donations for community residents. As of mid-April, more than 10,000 books and 30,000 pieces of clothing had been donated to children in the western region. Since 2006, Lianjia Charity has been concerned about the education and growth of rural children for 18 consecutive years, and has donated 12 primary schools, 209 libraries and 2,077 computers nationwide, benefiting more than 60,000 students.

On April 21, the "World Book Day and the charity book donation activity of 'Family, School and Society Flower Education - Books for Vegetables'" in Tangyuan Community, Huashan Street, East Lake High-tech Zone, Wuhan, Hubei Province, opened a beautiful window for this combination and transformation.
