On April 29, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. As the core R&D and manufacturing base of China's high-speed rail trains, CRRC Sifang was approved to build a national high-speed train industry measurement and testing center in 2018. Since its establishment, the center has focused on the research and capacity building of measurement and testing technology, and carried out preparatory work around 54 tasks in three aspects: the ability and level of measurement and testing projects, the ability and achievements of measurement science and technology innovation, and the operation ability and effectiveness of the industrial measurement and testing center, covering from basic technology, industry common technology to key product technologies, realizing a series of breakthroughs in measurement and testing, test verification, and quality control of high-speed trains throughout their life cycle, and creating a "three-layer, four-chain, dual-drive, and dual-cycle" The industrial metrology ecological model has promoted the continuous upgrading of the capacity of the high-speed train industrial metrology and testing system.

At present, the National High-speed Train Industry Metrology and Testing Center has established 63 measurement standards, 231 measurement and calibration technical capabilities, 56 measurement and testing technical capabilities, carried out 59 forward-looking, key commonalities, measurement equipment and method measurement and testing technology research and innovation ability projects, and invested more than 6,000 sets of equipment in the field of measurement testing and calibration of high-speed train industry, forming an industry-leading measurement and testing service capability.
