Covering an area of 70.67 acres, the park is the largest quinoa deep processing enterprise in northwest China, and its two-phase project has been completed, indicating that Dongxiang County has taken a solid step in the development of modern agriculture. Gansu Dongqian Terrestris Food Co., Ltd., located here, as the vanguard of county-owned state-owned enterprises, undertakes the important task of leading the local people to the road to prosperity. At present, the company has launched 12 kinds of products such as quinoa biscuits, cereals, and dried noodles under the brand name of "Quinoa no Fragrance", forming a complete industrial chain from raw material acquisition to processing and sales.
"Our company began to carry out the quinoa biscuit production line with material test run on April 12 this year, and by April 18, all indicators met the design requirements, and the quinoa biscuits were successfully rolled off the production line. Six production lines, including quinoa rice, quinoa flour, quinoa instant noodles, etc., have initially met the conditions for large-scale and commercial production. At present, the company is stepping up the production and processing of quinoa rice, stepping up the docking of matters related to participating in the China International Consumer Goods Expo, and following up the implementation of the cooperation intentions reached with relevant enterprises at home and abroad. Sinopec spares no effort to support farmers, providing seeds, fertilizers and other agricultural materials for five consecutive years, which has stimulated the enthusiasm of farmers to plant quinoa, the scientific research and breeding base of Salle Village, Gaoshan Township has become the largest quinoa planting demonstration base in Gansu Province, and the quinoa planting industry in other towns and towns is also being implemented in an orderly manner under the promotion of the Dongxiang County Party Committee and County Government, the person in charge of the company introduced that the county is expected to plant 12,000 acres of quinoa this year.
