In order to improve the level of dance art creation and performance in our district, discover and encourage outstanding choreographers and dance talents, and promote the prosperity and development of dance art in Qingpu District, it is planned to hold the 3rd Qingpu District Original Dance Competition in October 2024.

Registration and Requirements
(1) How to participate
1. Registration time: April 30 to June 30, 2024
2. Registration method: Scan the QR code at the end of the article or send the registration form to the mailbox [email protected].
3. Preliminary Round: Submit the video recording before September 1, 2024, and the initial evaluation of the video recording will be carried out in September. The video recording must be complete and clear.

4. Finals: After the initial review of the videos submitted by the contestants, 16 outstanding works will be selected for the finals.
5. Time and place of the finals:
Final time: late October 2024 (specific time will be notified after the preliminary round).
Venue: Qingpu District Cultural Center Theater.
(2) Contents of the work
He works on the themes of "Red Culture", "Jiangnan Culture" and "Shanghai Culture".
(3) Participants
Dance artists and dance enthusiasts who work and live in Qingpu are eligible to apply.
(4) Requirements for works
1. The entries must be original, vigorously advocate the innovation of the work, eliminate plagiarism, and the shortlisted entrants must sign the "Copyright Commitment", and the entrants shall be responsible for the liability disputes caused by the infringement.
2. Dance type and form of competition: There is no limit to the dance type of the entry. The groups of this competition are: group dance group, solo dance, double dance, and triple dance group, and the group will be adjusted according to the registration situation.
3. The number of group dancers of each participating team is controlled to be less than 18 people, and the duration of each program is less than 6 minutes.
4. Each team is required to have uniform, beautiful and generous costumes, in line with the characteristics of the dance style.
Awards
This competition adheres to the principle of "fairness, openness and justice", and the works selected by the organizer Qingpu District Dancers Association will not participate in the performance.
There is no limit to the types of dances in this competition, and the provisional awards are:
1. Group dance: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 performance awards.
2. Solo, double and triple dance: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 5 performance awards.
3. Several Outstanding Organization Awards.
