At the event site, the majestic gongs and drums kicked off the event, and wonderful cultural programs were staged one after another. In the tea art class, the whole process of tea picking, tea making, tea ceremony skills and tea culture are displayed, and in the special agricultural products exhibition area, local products such as Changzhou white tea, lakeside golden silk chrysanthemum, and Maqiao fine rice are displayed.
On the top of the tea mountain, tourists wear Hanfu, experience boiling tea around the hearth, and feel the comfortable scenery of the tea field. At lunchtime, a table of farmhouse dishes with Yanxia characteristics, such as excerpts and dried oil, invited guests from all walks of life.
"Since the construction of the tea garden in 2019, it has experienced extreme weather such as drought and freezing rain, and with the support of the government and relevant departments, the tea garden has been on the right track. Peng Daiqiang, the person in charge of Changzhou White Tea Tea Garden, said that the construction of industrial roads on the tea mountain and the drip irrigation pipeline on the tea garden are inseparable from the support of government departments.
As a key construction project for investment promotion in Yanxia Township in 2019, Changzhou White Tea is a modern ecological leisure tourism agricultural industrialization enterprise integrating tea appreciation, tea picking and tea tasting, and a leading enterprise in Xianning City, which successfully applied for the national trademark of "Fushui Lake White Tea" in 2022.
In recent years, Yanxia Township has unswervingly regarded white tea as the leading industry of rejuvenating the township and enriching the people, strong financial support, strong scientific and technological support, strong brand cultivation, strong tea tourism integration, and the scale, quality and efficiency of the white tea industry have been significantly improved, and the base has planted 3,000 acres of white tea on a large scale, and has cultivated high-end tea varieties such as white tea No. 1, crystal white tea, Jiebai, Jinxiangyu, and golden buds. The development of the white tea industry has truly brought benefits to the masses and injected new momentum into the construction of a lakeside health town and rural revitalization.
