Xianfeng has an average altitude of 800 meters, a forest coverage rate of 73%, most of the spring temperatures are below 23 °C, the average annual air quality days are more than 350 days, and the concentration of negative oxygen ions is more than 5000 / cm³, and the soil contains selenium, the environment is beautiful, and the resources are abundant, especially suitable for the growth of white tea. Strontium and other trace elements necessary for the human body, the unique advantages of climate resources and a good ecological environment have formed the image of "Baifumei" with good albinomy, rich elements and beautiful taste of "Xianfeng White Tea".
Xianfeng is located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain, located at 30 ° north latitude "golden tea belt", with a long history of tea production and tea drinking. Jia Siqian of the Northern Wei Dynasty spoke highly of the famous tea produced in the Wuling area in "Qi Min Yaoshu": "Fu (Wu) Ling tea is the best. In the Western Jin Dynasty, "Jingzhou Land Records" praised: "The seven counties of Wuling are the best to produce tea." So far, there are still 13 ancient tea and salt roads in Xianfeng that connect in all directions, and there is a "tea tree king" with a height of 13 meters and an age of more than 500 years in Tangya Town.

Up to now, the area of Xianfeng white tea has reached 145,000 mu, ranking among the top in the country, and has been rated as a demonstration county for the development of China's white tea industry and a selenium-rich white tea county in China. In 2023, China Tea Hubei Tea Co., Ltd. will settle in Xianfeng, and in 2024, China Tea Hubei Industrial Park will be officially put into production, and the development of Xianfeng white tea industry will take off again.
