After the start of the mining festival, everyone followed the footsteps of the tea picking team, walked into the picturesque Yangtagong tea garden along the tea mountain plank road, and stopped under the tea king tree of "the ancestor of Yangta big white tea", and more than 10 Yi girls dressed in Yi costumes sang mountain songs and began to pick the ancestors of white tea.
"Today, I am fortunate to witness the mining of the ancestor of Jinggu Yangta white tea, participate in the tea picking experience, roasted tea experience, watch the tea art performance, I feel very meaningful, through tea tasting, I deeply fell in love with the sweet taste of Jinggu white tea, and wish the fragrance of the vision valley white tea float in the world," said Cao Yang, a tourist from Hunan, excitedly.
The ancestor of Yangta Dabai Tea is the largest and oldest Jinggu Dabai Tea known today, which belongs to the transition from wild-type to cultivated Baimao tea, and is the Yunnan large-leaf white tea with the highest known amino acid content. In 2022, "Yangta Dabai Tea" passed the registration of national non-major crop varieties and became the first new national clone tea variety in Pu'er City to pass the registration, providing provenance support and scientific and technological support for the development and growth of Jinggu Dabai Tea, adding momentum and energy to polishing the business card of "Jinggu Dabai Tea", fully demonstrating the brand value and market influence of Jinggu Dabai Tea.
Tea paves the way to prosperity, and tea rhyme is fragrant and revitalized. In recent years, Minle Town, Jinggu County, has turned the tea area into a scenic spot and the tea mountain into a golden mountain around the green tea leaves, and has continuously created natural, green and ecological tea products, and the economic development has continued to improve. Minle Town now has a tea planting area of 93,400 acres, with an average tea garden area of 12.3 acres and a per capita tea garden area of 3.5 acres. The income per mu is more than 4,000 yuan, and the price of the best quality ancient tree white tea can reach more than 6,000 yuan per kilogram. At present, there are 5 large-scale tea production enterprises and 105 tea primary production institutes, with a tea output of 7,496.81 tons in 2023 and an output value of 454 million yuan in the tea industry.
