Today, the spirit of Honghu Lake is passed down from generation to generation with the classic melody, and the red memory is also rooted in the hearts of young audiences through classic works. Zhang Shaokui, student of Shandong University of Science and Technology:

"The school will organize activities on the theme of party building, and perform a fragment of the opera classic, and we will also rehearse the fragment of this opera."

The China Opera Festival is a national-level artistic event in the field of opera in China, which is held every three years, and since 2011, it has been held in Fujian, Hubei and Jiangsu for three sessions. As a traditional classic, the opera "Honghu Red Guards" is known as a banner of Chinese national opera, and since the first opera festival was held, it has become a traditional classic exhibition repertoire of each opera festival. This year's Opera Festival coincides with the great historical node of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and classic works such as "Honghu Red Guards" are sung again, reminiscing with new and old audiences and resonating the national spirit.
