Ma Quan, born in Songyuan City, Jilin Province in 1960, embarked on a military career in March 1978, and transferred to Daqing in September 1998, opening a new chapter in his life. With the wheels of fate turning, a chance made him have a strong interest in the art of calligraphy. Since then, he has been persistently copying and practicing day after day, and his calligraphy skills have gradually accumulated in the precipitation of time and laid a solid foundation.
Finally, he was favored by Bai Fenghai, a director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a director of the Chinese Artists Association, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. Under the careful guidance of Mr. Bai Fenghai, Ma Quan's calligraphy skills have been further improved and recognized, which has not only won praise from the industry, but also received unanimous praise from people from all walks of life.
