At this time, it was discovered that there was an error in the information of the parts copied by the comrades-in-arms when filling in the form, so that the parts purchased in the warehouse did not match the equipment. For this reason, the company had to re-apply, which seriously affected the progress of the training.

At the brigade party committee's discussion and training meeting, a cadre explained the situation, which was taken seriously by the participants. Comrades of government organs and departments visited and found that as new equipment is being installed in the troops one after another, there are more and more types and quantities of maintenance and support equipment required by grassroots units, and the traditional equipment support mode is difficult to meet the needs of training and preparing for war. In order to effectively solve the existing problems, on the one hand, the brigade conducted in-depth research and solicited opinions extensively, and on the other hand, invited equipment maintenance technicians and experts from parts manufacturing units to inspect and demonstrate the situation.

On this basis, the party committee of the brigade has studied and decided to invest special funds to promote the construction of an automated depot information system and use scientific and technological means to solve the problem of equipment maintenance and support. Through the efforts of many parties, an automated parking lot information system integrating equipment information collection, classification and summary, data processing and other functions has been completed and put into use.

"With the help of this system, the demand side and the supply side of equipment and equipment accessories can achieve efficient docking, which effectively improves the effectiveness of support. The leader of the brigade said that now, when the grassroots units have a demand for equipment and accessories, they only need to submit an application through the company's office computer login system, and after the relevant departments have passed the examination, a notice of application will be issued to the grassroots level, and the officers and men can go to the equipment and equipment warehouse to receive the accessories in accordance with the requirements of the notice. During this period, officers and soldiers can also track and understand the progress of each link through the system, and make relevant preparations in advance.

In the brigade's equipment warehouse, the silver-white automated depot information terminal is particularly eye-catching under the light. The reporter clicks the mouse to enter the system page, and the functional modules such as resource management, demand reporting, equipment application, and work progress are presented on the screen in different categories.

"We also use this system to establish an 'electronic file' for the equipment, when the equipment is sent for repair, it will be given an identity card, which automatically records the equipment consumption and spare parts replacement information when it is sent for repair and maintenance, so as to realize the traceability of the whole maintenance process and the data can be checked at any time. Wang Shuo, an assistant in the maintenance section of the brigade responsible for system operation and maintenance management, said that at present, they have established a database covering more than 100 kinds of equipment maintenance information, which provides strong data support for the implementation of accurate support.
