Recently, this reporter went to a certain brigade of the Navy to interview and found that the provincial highway that originally passed through the middle of the brigade's barracks has been closed and has become an internal road in the barracks, and the new provincial highway has been put into use after the reroute.
"Previously, the camp was divided into east and west camps by a provincial road. The leader of the brigade told reporters that the construction of the barracks of the troops was earlier, and there were fewer private cars at that time, and the impact of the provincial highway passing through the barracks was not great.
"Nowadays, with the development of local economy, the living standards of ordinary people are improving day by day, and private cars are becoming more and more popular, which brings a lot of pressure to the order and safety management of the camp. Said the head of the brigade's unit management section.
In connection with the construction of the "two modernizations" in the barracks, the brigade formed a feasibility study report on the diversion of provincial highways after careful investigation, and then actively sought the support of the city and district levels where it was stationed, and jointly decided to seal the original provincial highway into the barracks and transform it into a war-ready road, and build a new provincial highway on the periphery of the barracks.
With the vigorous cooperation of the people around the station, the construction of the new provincial highway took only 5 months from the project to the completion of the opening to traffic. In order to ensure the safety of passage, the nearby people also volunteered to help the brigade build a closed fence around the barracks.
"We thought that we might encounter a lot of problems in coordination, but we did not expect the work to go so smoothly, and we were deeply touched by the enthusiastic support of the masses. Said the head of the relevant project of the brigade.
In addition, the brigade's combat-ready roads outside the barracks are also facing the problem of "straightening" and renovating. The turning radius of the original route was insufficient, which affected the passage of large armored vehicles, but the new route required "crossing" local fish ponds. After the brigade connected with the local village committee, the village committee agreed to the transformation plan.
"Without national tranquility, there can be no happy life for individuals. The director of the village's village committee said that if the army is well built, the officers and men will be more energetic in training and preparing for war, and national security and local development will be more guaranteed. In the future, they will do their best to support national defense construction as long as it is necessary.
