The research vegetable garden of Meiyiling Primary School in Yuhua District is a very desirable base for students, which is designed and managed by the students themselves, and the harvested vegetables can be sold freely, and the vegetables can be used freely. In this practical activity, Gong Yihan, a fourth-grade student of Meiyiling Primary School in Yuhua District, happily received 2 vegetable boxes, with 4 square meters, and after investigation and research, she chose to plant baby cabbage. "The baby cabbage grows quickly, the seeds are cheap, easy to manage, taste good, and the most important thing is that it can be harvested in about 10 days after planting. If I plant 7 to 8 times a semester and sell for more than 20 yuan each time, 2 planting boxes can complete at least 150 yuan of income, and I don't need to ask my mother for my pocket money, and I can share it with my classmates. Gong Yihan said excitedly.
In the discussion session, Kaisa Primary School, Fuxing Primary School and Xintian Primary School focused on the practice and thinking of school curriculum construction, and Jinping Primary School, Vaulting Horse Primary School and Shiyanhu Primary School shared their views on how to build a planting base in the school according to local conditions and carry out theme practice activities.
Meiyiling Primary School in Yuhua District is a rural primary school, and in 2020, it will become a national excellent teaching achievement promotion school, and the school has opened up small and refined practice bases such as plum garden, Yiyuan, vegetable garden, orchard, fertilizer garden, creative balcony, and food workshop in the school according to local conditions, with a total area of more than 3,000 square meters. In May 2023, under the guidance of the Yuhua District Education and Science Institute, with Meiyiling Primary School as the leader, the city's first Rural Labor Alliance Workshop was established, which promoted the national excellent teaching achievements to the surrounding 6 rural schools. Through resource sharing, at present, the seven rural alliance schools have developed their own theme practice courses, determined the development direction of the school's labor characteristics, and the harvest and satisfaction brought by labor practice have quietly changed the children's habits and hobbies.
