At the same time, the slope protection above the residential area, the side road into the Huayinyuan community main road, the flow of people and vehicles, once the slope protection collapse will pose a threat to the buildings above and the passing personnel, vehicles, Tang Huaxiu immediately reported to the street and district emergency command center. At 10:12, the leaders in charge of the Yuhua District Emergency Management Bureau and Sun Lei, deputy secretary of the Dongtang Street Working Committee, rushed to the scene to organize the transfer of 12 vehicles parked on both sides of the road, evacuate the passing residents, set up a cordon and warning signs, and arrange special personnel to be on duty in the surrounding area. At 10:30, the slope protection collapsed, but fortunately, the risk and hidden dangers were found and reported in a timely manner, and no casualties and property losses were caused.
This is a typical case of early detection, early reporting and early disposal of heavy rainfall, strong convection and the secondary disaster risks caused by it. After the incident, the District Emergency Management Bureau convened relevant units to carry out rescue and reinforcement of slope protection, and the District Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Office required all streets and towns in the district to focus on high-risk areas such as geological disaster hidden danger points, slope cutting houses, high slopes, deep foundation pits, urban waterlogging points, agricultural greenhouses, high-altitude operations, outdoor billboards, etc., to strengthen inspections and inspections, and eliminate hidden dangers in a timely manner.
