The yacht was built for a regular client of Fertistar who commissioned the project "based on his long yachting experience and sensible requests", and the design work was carried out by the Dutch studio Sinot in collaboration with the owner's relevant design office. Featuring a beveled exterior profile and a more traditional flared bow, this yacht embodies the personality of a modern classic. The ship works were designed by De Voogt Naval Architects. Notably, she is the first superyacht to be equipped with a full hybrid electric class classification.

The propulsion unit and onboard hybrid electric energy management system for Project 1012 were developed by Fetistar's in-house engineers. The yacht is equipped with two MTU diesel main engines and shaft-driven fixed-pitch propellers with 560kW PTO/PTI electric engines and 1MW lithium-ion batteries, respectively.

Electric engines double as shaft generators, PTO/PTI means "power take-off" and "power input", in power take-off mode, these engines operate as shaft generator sets, generating electricity to charge hotel loads or battery packs, at the same time, in PTI mode, electric motors can handle low-speed maneuvering, battery or conventional generator sets to power the ship's grid needs.

The interior design of Project 1012 reflects a "light family home style", with natural materials and sophisticated finishes creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. All cabins are located on the main deck, which also features a large swimming pool and open-air lounge area, with overhangs at the top of the deck providing just the right amount of shelter.

The upper deck is home to the master suite, family lounge and wellness area, each of which exudes sophistication and taste. Meanwhile, the master suite, family lounge and wellness area are located on the upper deck. The sun deck on the top floor is the perfect place to enjoy the sea views, and the sofas and loungers in front invite you to soak up the sun and sea breeze. The aft deck cleverly conceals two rescue boats, which are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

It is worth mentioning that the owner specifically requested the construction of a spacious beach club at the stern, which occupies a quarter of the total length of the lower deck. The large fixed aft platform combined with two folding platforms creates a 165 square metre on-water relaxation space that is a highlight on the yacht. Steps on either side of the aft platform lead to the stern main deck.

Between the cabin and the beach club is a side-mounted garage that can accommodate two 10-metre annex boats, a water skiing boat and a variety of water toys. The crew quarters at the front include the galley, crew dining room and crew quarters, which are worth noting that the staff quarters are luxuriously furnished like the guest rooms.

Speaking at the launch, Albert Abma, Project Manager at Fitstar, commented: "Working with experienced owners, talented designers and a team of highly qualified owners is an unrivalled professional experience. Their extensive operational experience is complemented by the savoir-faire of our shipyard to create a modern classic, cutting-edge and fully bespoke superyacht. ”
