  On April 18, the "integration of station and ground" was officially awarded to Wang Lang Management and Protection Station of Pingwu Management and Protection Station of the Giant Panda National Park, marking a new level of grassroots management and protection work in the Pingwu area of the Giant Panda National Park.

  Wang Lang National Nature Reserve is one of the first four nature reserves established in mainland China to protect rare wild animals and plants such as giant pandas and their habitats, with a total area of 322.97 square kilometers, more than 200 species of vertebrates of 22 orders, 64 families and 200 species of known vertebrates, including giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, twisted horned antelopes, clouded leopards, leopards, spot-tailed hazel pheasants, green-tailed rainbow pheasants (fritillary hens) and other national first-class protected animals, and more than 700 species of known plants in 73 families.

  Pingwu County is included in the Giant Panda National Park with an area of 3,131 square kilometers, accounting for 74.64% of the city's Giant Panda National Park area and 15.5% of the province's Giant Panda National Park.

  It is understood that the Giant Panda National Park Pingwu Management and Protection Station Wang Lang Management and Protection Station is listed and substantively operated, which is an innovative practice of the grassroots management and protection system and mechanism of the Giant Panda National Park, which will break the boundaries and ownership relationships of the original management and protection jurisdiction, and maximize the integration of township governments, nature reserves, forest industry enterprises and community indigenous residents, etc., in accordance with the principle of "three changes and three unchanged", that is, the institution will not be revoked, assets will not be transferred, and the identity will not be changed. Unify standards, so as to further break through the bottlenecks of systems and mechanisms, integrate management and protection forces, promote the scientific protection and balance of the Wanglang area, and more integrate the surrounding communities and high-quality development.
