The party spirit education base was listed
Recently, the Party School of the Communist Party of China Jiangle County Party Committee listed a party spirit education base in the Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall, as an important place for party and government cadres and the masses to "Zhonghua Spirit Research and Practice Base", "Cadre Education Base", "Patriotism Education Base" and "Fire Propaganda Training and Education Base".
On November 7, 2023, the Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall, located in the military barracks where the martyr Zheng Zhonghua, who was awarded the honorary title of "Emergency Rescue Warrior" by the State Council and the Central Military Commission, was officially opened, and it is the first memorial hall named after a firefighter in the province.
The museum has set up four areas of commemoration of the martyrs, ritual education, visit and study, and fire experience, and has displayed a total of 305 precious photos, 102 physical objects, and 25 videos, comprehensively displaying the advanced deeds of Zheng Zhonghua's martyr's study, work, training, life, fire fighting and rescue, and serving the people during his lifetime, as well as the vivid practice of remembering the revolutionary martyrs and inheriting the spirit of loyalty from all walks of life.
An important place to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs
On July 7, 2004, martyr Zheng Zhonghua sacrificed his precious life at the age of 23 to rescue six people trapped by the flood, and fulfilled his loyal promise like his name, and was awarded the honorary title of "Emergency Rescue Warrior" by the State Council and the Central Military Commission.
His heroic spirit of "not fearing danger and sacrificing himself to save others" and his feelings of "serving the people wholeheartedly and not afraid of sacrifice" are like a banner, inspiring generations of firefighters not to forget their original intentions and move forward bravely.
A bronze statue of Zheng Zhonghua was set up in the museum, displaying the fire trucks, life jackets, assault boats and other precious objects used by the martyr Zheng Zhonghua to rescue the masses, and vividly restoring the heroic feats of the martyr Zheng Zhonghua through graphics, texts, videos and other forms.
Over the past 20 years, at important time nodes such as "Qingming and Martyrs' Memorial Day", people from all walks of life have spontaneously gone to the Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall to remember the martyrs of Zheng Zhonghua, which has become an important place for all walks of life to remember the revolutionary martyrs.
An important melting pot for refining the cultivation of party spirit
Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall includes the story of Zheng Zhonghua's daily work of "being close to the people, helping the people, and serving the people", and vividly restores his touching deeds such as participating in volunteer services and helping the masses solve practical difficulties in his more than 4 years of enlistment.
Over the past 20 years, Zheng Zhonghua Fire and Rescue Station has set up "Zhonghua Scholarship", "Zhonghua Service Team" and "Zhonghua Centurion" to carry out all-round and three-dimensional services for the convenience and benefit of the people, and have funded a total of 1,553 students to successfully complete their studies.
Donated more than 6,500 items to the poor... One by one, the practical and good deeds of relieving the worries of the people have painted a vivid and touching picture of "deep love for fish and water", interpreted the purpose of "serving the people wholeheartedly", and is an important place for all walks of life to temper their party spirit and build a strong sense of purpose.
An important classroom for patriotic education
The Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall contains the growth record of Zheng Zhonghua martyr, telling the story of his struggle from a young man in society to a firefighter and then to a combat hero.
At the same time, books such as "Zhonghua Diary" and "Zhonghua Reader" are also displayed, combined with the text, pictures, physical objects and other materials of the memorial hall, which comprehensively present the spirit of Zhonghua and carry forward the context.
Over the past 20 years, on major festivals and important nodes, local cadres, school teachers and students have gone to the museum to carry out patriotic education theme activities with rich content and various forms, which has become an important place for cultivating the spirit of patriotism.
Zheng Zhonghua Fire and Rescue Station will rely on the learning platform of the Party Spirit Education Base of Zheng Zhonghua Memorial Hall to further inherit the red gene, carry forward the patriotic spirit, continue the spirit of Zhonghua, save the people from fire and water, help the people in danger, give the people strength, always be a loyal guardian of the party and the people, and make greater contributions to the national emergency rescue cause and the comprehensive revitalization of the station.
