In order to advocate a virtuous and healthy lifestyle in the new era, promote the new fashion of garbage classification and life, improve the level of domestic waste reduction, recycling, and harmlessness, and call on minors to actively participate in garbage classification work, establish a green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly and healthy life concept, and develop good behavior habits. On April 16, Taitung Street, together with the Ant Power Children's Volunteer Group and Taitung Sixth Road Primary School, carried out the theme activity of "Environmental Protection Enzymes into the Courtyard, Garbage 'Turning Waste into Treasure'".
The event covered two main parts: garbage classification knowledge promotion and environmental protection enzyme production. In the garbage classification publicity session, the staff used well-designed courseware and daily life experience to carry out a series of in-depth garbage classification publicity and education activities for minors. Subsequently, through the mode of "teaching + practice", the minors were able to fully understand the relevant knowledge of environmental enzymes, and under the careful guidance of the staff, according to a certain proportion, water, sugar and fruit peels and other materials were mixed into plastic containers, and they jointly made their own environmental enzymes.
Garbage classification is a small step, and green "children" are a big step. The development of this activity allowed the minors to experience the fun of enzyme making, enhanced their understanding of garbage classification knowledge, effectively improved their awareness of consciously caring for environmental sanitation, and made everyone become an active practitioner of the concept of green environmental protection in a subtle way. In the next step, Taitung Street will let residents know more about how garbage can also be "turned into treasure" through more entertaining and educational methods, so that the concept of garbage classification and environmental protection will be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
