With the popularization of outdoor sports and the improvement of consumers' requirements for outdoor shoe protection, durability and waterproof performance have become one of the indicators to measure the quality of outdoor shoe materials such as river tracing shoes, mountaineering shoes, and hiking shoes.
In order to meet the requirements of product performance and export environmental protection standards, Texnology® now selects Texnology®LG62 C6 three-proof finishing agent and Texnology®FCB056 shoe material environmental protection waterproof agent to develop durable and waterproof functions for shoe fabrics provided by shoe material factory customers. Considering the lack of impregnation processing equipment for the customer, our technicians customized the soaking-drying washable waterproof processing process, which is easy to operate, adapts to the customer's existing production conditions, and solves the problem of waterproof finishing.

4) Customer requirements:
l Use C6 waterproofing agent for processing;
l Waterproof performance: 100 points initially, 80 points after 10 times of washing and drying.
5) Test Reference Standard:
l 防水：AATCC 22 -2017《拒水性能测试：喷淋法》
l 洗涤：AATCC 135-Ⅲ-A-2018《织物经家庭洗涤后尺寸变化》
6) Shoe material fabric washable and waterproof finishing process:
l 浸泡15min → 烘干（160℃×3min）

The waterproof performance of the shoe fabric sample of the No. 1 process formula before washing could not achieve 100 points, but the fabric processed by Texnology®LG62 C6 three-proof finishing agent and Texnology®EXT-3 crosslinker has excellent washing resistance, and can still maintain a good waterproof performance of 85~90 points after 10 washes.
In the No. 2 process formula, the shoe fabric samples processed by Texnology®FCB056 can achieve a waterproof effect of 100 points before washing, and the waterproof performance after washing also meets the customer's expected indicators, meeting the actual use needs of waterproof shoe materials.
