April 15, 2024 is the ninth National Security Education Day. In order to guide children to deeply understand that national security is the foundation of national rejuvenation and that safeguarding national security is the duty of every citizen, the primary school of Gaochun School affiliated to South Normal School has carried out a series of thematic education activities.

On the morning of April 15, Gaochun School of the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme of "Enhancing the Awareness of the Rule of Law and Safeguarding National Security".
Hold themed class activities
In the theme class meeting, each class teacher started from several aspects, such as "what is national security", "what are the behaviors that endanger national security", "legal knowledge on national security", "the obligations of citizens and organizations to safeguard national security", "who will defend national security", etc., so that students can further understand the significance of the establishment of national security education day and understand the importance of safeguarding national security.
Carry out thematic education activities
The school organizes all teachers and students to participate in the teaching activity of "Integrated Construction of National Security Education in Universities, Primary and Secondary Schools, Same Lesson" organized by the Municipal Department of Teaching and Research. The activities were organized and carried out in the form of live online classes, so that teachers and students could understand the profound connotation and importance of the concept of national security.
The theme of "Daddy's Class" was announced
Each class uses the "Daddy Classroom" activity to invite parents to come to the stage to talk about national security for students, and lead students to enhance their national security awareness in a relaxed and interesting atmosphere from the perspectives of social morality, professional ethics, and family responsibility.
"Character Improvement" special activities
Our school has always attached great importance to the rule of law education for students, and has carried out rule of law experience actions on a regular basis, guiding students to understand national security and other related legal knowledge through investigations, interviews, visits, experiences and other activities, understand the important role of the rule of law in life, and know the law and abide by the law in actual life.
