Recently, the New Crime Investigation Brigade of the Weng'an County Public Security Bureau successfully smashed a criminal gang that used mobile phone ports to commit telecommunications network fraud. 5 suspects were arrested, and 8 mobile phones and 30 phone cards involved in the case were seized.
In the course of their work, the police found that there were overseas criminals making fraudulent calls roaming in Jianzhong Town, Weng'an County. After the police landed and verified, followed the line, and waited at the squatting point, they successfully arrested the criminal suspects Xiao, Liu, and Wang in a private house in Jianzhong Town, Weng'an County.
After interrogation: The criminal suspect Yang truthfully confessed that since November 2023, he has contacted overseas personnel through aircraft software, and has set up a "mobile phone port" many times, allowing Yang, Xiao and others to collect more than 20 QQs and 30 phone cards online and offline, and then used two mobile phone voice relay to allow the fraudsters to talk directly with the deceived object, so as to help the overseas fraud gang commit fraud.
At present, criminal suspects Xiao, Liu and others have been taken criminal compulsory measures by the Weng'an County Public Security Bureau in accordance with the law. The case is still being further investigated.
