In 2021, Baseus set foot in the field of power strips for the first time, bringing the brand advantage of "high-power multi-port GaN fast charging" to the product, and launched Baseus GaN3 Pro GaN desktop power strip, a powerful 65W 2C2A GaN fast charging module, with a lightweight and portable design, to challenge the power strip market. In 2024, Baseus will update the product line of Baseus plug-in board again, and the new product of Baseus Mini fast charging plug-in board will be launched.
The biggest change between the Baseus Mini fast charging plug-in board and the previous Baseus fast charging plug-in board is that it adopts a unique separate design, the gallium nitride fast charging module and the plug-in board module can be combined and detachable, and they can be used separately or together, which is multi-purpose and can easily cope with different power consumption scenarios.
The overall measurement of the Mini fast charging plug-in board is 40*37*123mm, which is half the size of the traditional plug-in board. If you look at it separately, the three measurements of the plug-in board module are 40*37*42mm, and the measurements of the gallium nitride fast charging module are 40*37*61mm, the width and thickness of the two are the same, and the surface design process is the same.
The power strip module is very small, the shape is close to square, one side is equipped with a national standard 2+3 AC jack, the other side is equipped with a national standard 2-pin jack, the jack is equipped with a safety door to prevent electric shock, and the maximum load power is 2500W.
The 1.5m length cable is made of 1mm² thick core, and the metal prong part of the three-pin plug is semi-lagged, which is safer to use.
The GaN fast charging module is a 67W four-port charger, model CCGAN67C6-S, weight 187g, GaN fast charging module has a volume of 90.28cm³, and a power density of about 0.74W/cm³ based on the rated output power of 67W.
In terms of interfaces, it has three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, and the input is a fixed two-pin pin, which supports 100-240V~ 50/60Hz wide voltage input.
USB-C1/C2/C3 has the same performance, with power blind mating characteristics, and can output up to 67W fast charging when plugged into any of them, while USB-A is mainly for low-power devices with an output power of 5W.
The GaN fast charging module is equipped with Baseus BPS3.0 charging technology, which supports dynamic and intelligent adjustment of output performance when charging multiple devices at two, three, and four.
Summary of the charging head network
As the latest generation of Baseus power strips, the Baseus Mini fast charging plug-in board adopts a unique modular split design, and the plug-in board and gallium nitride fast charging part can be used separately, and after combination, they are integrated, which is smaller, stronger and more flexible than the traditional power strip.
The power strip has a 2+3 combination jack and a 2-pin jack, both with a safety door, and a 1.5m thick core. GaN fast charging adopts a 3C1A four-port configuration, with a maximum output power of 67W, and has an industry-rare continuous charging technology, which will not re-shake hands when plugging and unplugging multiple devices.
Baseus Mini fast charging plug-in board is currently on the shelves of Baseus Jingdong self-operated flagship store, the daily price is 219 yuan, and the actual payment is 179 during the first launch, and interested partners can get on the car by themselves.
