On April 29, the track laying of the new Meizhou-Longchuan high-speed railway (referred to as Meilong high-speed railway) was completed
The Meilong high-speed railway is located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, and the line leads from Meizhou West Station of Meishan High-speed Railway, passing through Meixian District of Meizhou City, Xingning City, Wuhua County and Longchuan County of Heyuan City, and finally ending at Longchuan West Station of Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway. The total length of the new main line is about 94 kilometers, and the design speed is 350 kilometers per hour. There are 4 stations on the whole line, including Xingning South and Wuhua New Station.
In the process of track laying, the construction unit made full use of the advanced project dispatching and command center and track information management and control platform to realize the intelligent, informational, professional and green track laying construction organization and project control, and greatly improved the quality of track laying. After the whole line is laid, the railway department will accelerate the work of seamless rail welding and stress relief.
The participating units used a new type of track-laying equipment in the track-laying construction, which can not only realize the traditional single-line track-laying, but also realize cross-line track-laying, left and right lines at the same time, realizing "one machine for three purposes", making track-laying more intelligent and faster.
After the completion of the Meilong high-speed railway, the travel time from Meizhou to Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be greatly shortened, which will greatly improve the transportation capacity of the channel and improve the efficiency of transportation organization, which is of great significance to accelerate the construction of high-speed railway corridors between the Pearl River Delta and eastern Guangdong and Meizhou and Heyuan, and promote regional economic and social development.
