On the occasion of the 29th "World Book Day", on April 16, Gu Jiu, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, former director of the Provincial Museum of Culture and History, and vice chairman of the Academic Committee of Yangming Cultural Transformation and Application Project, was invited by the Huishui County CPPCC to give a lecture on Yangming culture in the lecture hall of Huishui "Scholarly CPPCC", spread Yangming Xinxue, and promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
With the title of "The Contemporary Value of Yangming Culture", Gu Jiu explained and interpreted it from three aspects: Yangming's person, Yangming's "psychology", and contemporary significance. More than 200 provincial, state and county CPPCC members, members of the CPPCC work liaison group of various towns (streets) in Huishui County, as well as teacher representatives, college student representatives and representatives from all walks of life listened to Gu Jiu's wonderful speech. The Huishui County Rong Media Center broadcast the lecture live through the "Good Flower Bonus Huishui" Douyin account, and more than 800 people watched it online.
Wang Yangming is in a period when the natural environment, social environment, and moral environment are very unsatisfactory, but he is a person who has aspired to be a saint since he was a child, a person who has the courage to assume moral responsibility, and a person who dares to take responsibility and is good at achieving things. Gu Jiu said that Wang Yangming was a scholar who took clarifying the world as his own responsibility, and when he was young, he had great ambitions and wide interests. He believed that poetry can read knowledge, but it may not be able to read moral conscience, and knowledge is not the same as conscience. It can be seen that conscience is not in books, but in people's hearts.
For Yangming Xinxue, Gu Jiu's understanding is: sanctify one's conscience, conscience is the principle of heaven, and there is no need for social system and classics to be the intermediate link; Although "conscience" is the moral emotion, intuition and instinct that everyone has, in a complex social environment, in order to survive, it is necessary to adapt to the environment, and it is difficult to maintain conscience at all times and everywhere. "Those who aspire to be sages need to be able to get rid of all kinds of worldly temptations and gains and losses, and they need to 'to' that is, to persevere, work hard, expand, and improve, keep in mind the original intention, be unswerving, and stick to it for life. ”
In Gu Jiu's view, "the benevolence of heaven and earth and all things in one" is the essence of traditional Chinese culture, which can provide wisdom for the sustainable survival of human beings. Yang Ming's "Mind Study" has the characteristics of simplicity, popularization and practicality. Among them, the kind of spiritual realm that transcends the small self, embraces the big self, transcends the present, focuses on the future, transcends the trivial, and pursues the sublime, is very valuable. The benevolence of the unity of heaven and earth and all things can promote the harmonious spirit of a community with a shared future for mankind and a community with a shared future between mankind and nature. ”
Our province is currently implementing and promoting the "four major cultural projects", namely the key construction of red culture, the transformation and application of Yangming culture, the inheritance and promotion of national culture, and the research and promotion of historical and cultural culture such as Tunpu culture. As one of the major cultural projects in Guizhou, the transformation and application of Yangming culture focuses on taking Yangming culture as the precious wealth of Guizhou's humanistic spirit, carrying out in-depth excavation, research, transformation and dissemination and promotion, polishing the cultural business card of Guizhou as the birthplace of Yangming Xinxue, and creating a Yangming cultural highland. Gu Jiu believes that in-depth excavation of the contemporary value of Yangming culture is an important measure to inherit and develop the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
The two-hour lecture gave the audience a deeper understanding of Yangming Psychology, and everyone said that in the future practical work, they should practice Yangming Psychology well and do a better job.
