In the spring of April, a unique public welfare dream show was warmly staged in Hangzhou. On April 15, the "2024 First China Hangzhou Bluegrass Rebirth Public Welfare Dream Show" jointly sponsored by Zhejiang One Plus One Public Welfare Foundation, Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and Yangtze River Delta Branch of Influence Philanthropy Research Institute was held in Hangzhou.

The purpose of this activity is to improve the public's awareness of tumor knowledge, so that more people can pay attention to the "Little Orchid in the Snow" - a group of children with solid tumors, and promote the positive energy of public welfare.

At the event, ten "Little Bluegrass", accompanied by their families and caring people, showed their confidence and courage in the form of a fashion show. Every smile and every step conveys their determination to overcome the disease and their yearning for a better future.

In addition to the catwalk, the event also showed a dream documentary to let more people know about the dreams and aspirations of the "Little Bluegrass". Some of them dream of being astronauts in space, some want to open an ice cream shop by the sea, and some dream of owning a cat pet shop...... These seemingly ordinary dreams are particularly precious and touching in the shadow of illness.

In order to make the dreams of the "Little Orchid" come true, the organizers invited dream boosters, dream recorders, caring enterprises and public welfare partners to participate. They not only provide opportunities for children to realize their dreams, but also provide strong support for their treatment and rehabilitation by donating public welfare dream funds and medical aid funds.

In addition, Zhejiang One Plus One Public Welfare Foundation has also launched the "Blue Grass Rebirth Program" to build a social force to participate in the care system for children with solid tumors, and provide all-round support for children with solid tumors from science popularization, precise assistance to postoperative care. The implementation of this program will not only help to raise public awareness of solid tumors, but also provide practical help for the "Little Bluegrass" to thrive under the care of the society.

At the event, the Internet experts also actively exerted their strength, cheering for the "Little Orchid" by releasing short videos, calling on the whole society to pay attention to this special group, so that more people can understand and participate in this public welfare undertaking.

The data show that pediatric malignant solid tumors have accounted for 55% of the incidence of all pediatric malignant tumors, which has exceeded the incidence of leukemia, and only in the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University, more than 1,000 cases of pediatric solid tumors are admitted every year, of which the proportion of children in the early and middle stages is about 60%, and the cure rate of this type of children can reach 80%-90% if they are intervened in the early and middle stages, which is enough to achieve a good prognosis.

It is understood that Zhejiang One Plus One Foundation has previously rescued nearly 600 children with solid tumors, and the cure rate has remained above 80%. Behind this achievement is the joint efforts and selfless dedication of caring people from all walks of life. Their acts of kindness have rekindled the light of hope for countless families, and also allowed the "little orchids" to see the dawn of the future in the midst of difficulties.

"Bluegrass rebirth" is not only a good wish for children with cancer, but also an expectation for the joint efforts of the whole society. I hope that these brave "little orchids" will plug in the wings of their dreams and let them fly higher and farther on the road in the future.
