Mulan Grassland has hosted large-scale kite competitions for seven consecutive years and is one of the largest kite flying bases in China.
Among them are Master Li Yingguang, the representative inheritor of the "Yangjiang Kite" project of the intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province, Master Zhai Yin, the third-generation inheritor of Jinpai kites, Li Xiaohu, a master of traditional kite design in Xi'an, and Zhang Jiabin, deputy secretary-general of the Beijing Kite Association and a national referee.
There are also international kite stars, Chinese kite celebrity Tan Xinbo, China's first stunt kite, founder of the third-level wind brand Yao Qingshan, domestic stunt kite pioneer veteran Chen Kejun, as well as Chengdu Kite Association Mingjing Kite Team, Shanghai King Kite Team, Xiong'an New Area Zhang Jie Team, Guangdong Kite Association, Beijing Baoer Kite Team and Wuhan local kite performance team.
