Chinese Herald News "Hundred Flowers of Spring" - the 16th anniversary celebration of the Japanese Federation of Overseas Chinese Literary and Art Circles opened at the Chinese Cultural Center in Tokyo on the afternoon of April 13. The event was presided over by Tang Yaming and Meng Fanjie. Guo Min, president of Huayi Federation, introduced the nine art clubs that he joined. The participating artists showed their skills, or calligraphy and painting exhibitions, or singing and dancing, dedicating the breath of spring with a hundred flowers. According to the organizers, in the middle of the spring of the Year of the Dragon, when the spring is bright and the flowers are blooming, the Japanese Federation of Overseas Chinese Literary and Art Circles celebrated its 16th anniversary at the Chinese Cultural Center in Tokyo. Since its establishment, regardless of the wind and sunshine or thunderstorms, Huayi Federation has always insisted on being a bridge of Sino-Japanese friendship, a messenger of people-to-people friendship, and a link of cultural exchanges, and strives to contribute to the Peace Building.
This celebration showed the achievements of the associations of Huayi Federation. There were theatrical performances at the opening ceremony, painting and photography exhibitions at the venue, and a number of cultural lectures on art, literature, opera, and dance were held at the same time.
Guo Min, President of the Japanese Federation of Overseas Chinese Literary and Art Circles, delivered a speech, introducing the previous presidents Guan Naiping, Dong Qiang, Tang Yaming, as well as the development history and main achievements of the Huayi Federation, as well as the representatives of the associations who attended the celebration. The All Japan Federation of Overseas Chinese Literary and Art Circles (hereinafter referred to as the Chinese Arts Federation) currently consists of nine associations, including the All Japan Chinese Photographers Association, the All Japan Chinese Musicians Association, the All Japan Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Association, the Japan Chinese Writers Association, the All Japan Chinese Dancers Association, the All Japan Chinese Dramatists Association, the All Japan China Jingkun Opera Artists Association, the All Japan Chinese Artists Association, and the Silk Road Association.
At the opening ceremony, the relevant persons in charge of the participating associations made speeches and introduced relevant activities.
At the opening ceremony of the day, a wonderful theatrical performance was staged. The Musicians Association brought the Sino-Japanese folk band ensemble "Joyful Yangyang" and "Backgammon"; Bai Daoxing, the winner of the first Huayi United Cup Karaoke Competition, sang "Only You in My Eyes"; the Dancers Association brought excerpts from modern dance, jazz dance and ballet "Four Little Swans"; Chai Guangyi and Chai Simeng presented a fragment of the shadow puppet play "The Crane and the Turtle" to the audience; Liu Zizhen of the Musicians Association sang the solo song "Jinse"; Liu Yan of the Peking Opera Association sang the traditional Peking Opera "Da Dengdian"; the third-generation overseas Chinese singer Lan Hua sang "ねがいうた"; The Dramatists Association brought a soundtrack poem recitation "Flower Fairy in Spring", and baritone singer Zhong Hao of the Musicians Association finally presented a male solo "Send My Heart's Thoughts" to everyone.
During the celebration, a number of lectures on art, literature, opera, dance and other lectures will be held to attract more people's attention to Chinese culture and art.
