At the forum, Liu Renfu, chairman of the China Anti-aging Promotion Association and secretary of the Party branch, delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Status and Prospects of the Anti-aging Industry". He pointed out that the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Developing the Silver Economy and Improving the Well-being of the Elderly" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions") in January this year, marking that the "Silver Economy" will become an important driving force for us to cope with the aging of the population, cultivate new momentum for economic development, and improve the quality of people's lives. He said that the current anti-aging industry in the mainland is facing shortcomings and difficulties such as small industrial scale, low investment funds, weak supervision and management, and few incubation models, but at the same time, it should also be seen that the development prospects of the anti-aging industry in the mainland have the characteristics of large market scale, large audience groups, strong individual demand and high technology content. Scientific research is the core driving force to promote the development of the anti-aging industry, and encouraging and supporting scientists to carry out basic and clinical research on anti-aging, and promoting the transformation of scientific discoveries into practical applications will surely be the industry's landing measures for new quality productivity.

Liu Renfu emphasized that from the perspective of national planning, the development of the silver economy is a full response to and implementation of the national strategy to actively respond to the aging of the population. In this process, the development of the anti-aging industry should adhere to five principles: adhere to political guidance, adhere to financial support, adhere to scientific and technological innovation, adhere to resource integration, and adhere to win-win cooperation. He said that "anti-aging" has become a hot topic of concern, the anti-aging industry is becoming a new economic growth point in China, and the mainland anti-aging industry is in the ascendant.

Wang Songling, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Expert Committee of the China Anti-Aging Promotion Association, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Transformation and Application of Scientific and Technological Innovation in the Anti-aging Industry". He pointed out that there are nearly 300 million elderly people in the mainland, and with the continuous improvement of the level of economic and social development in the mainland, the desire and demand of the elderly to improve their quality of life are constantly increasing. The development of the silver economy is conducive to conforming to this development trend and meeting the people's needs for multi-level diversified products and services. It is predicted that the scale of China's anti-aging market is expected to reach 150 billion yuan in the future, and scientific and technological innovation will become the core competitiveness of the development of the anti-aging industry. He said that Article 17 of the No. 1 Document of the State Council has clearly pointed out the six areas of the current transformation and application of scientific and technological innovation in the anti-aging industry, which can be divided into three aspects: biotechnology research of anti-aging products, research on aging biomarkers and application of innovative technologies in the field of anti-aging. The implementation of application scenarios such as Internet + medical health, smart nursing homes, and smart communities will accelerate the integration of scientific and technological innovation and anti-aging industries. Participants in the anti-aging industry should grasp the development opportunities of the anti-aging industry from ten aspects, including investment in R&D, attention to market trends, interdisciplinary integration, establishment of cooperative relations, brand building and marketing, and global vision, so as to promote the healthy development of the anti-aging industry.
