On April 12, the first phase of the 2024 Family Education Lecture jointly organized by the School of Social Training of Guangzhou Open University, the Education Bureau of Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, and the Zhou Yongjun Family Education Famous Teacher Studio of Guangzhou No. 5 Middle School was held in Guangzhou No. 5 Middle School (school headquarters), with Dr. Li Xiangping, associate professor and master's tutor of the School of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University. Li Xiangping proposed that children's life education is not only the interpretation and education of biology and physiology, but also the use of cultural studies to open up children's spiritual education, and the Qingming Festival is the time node when children begin to discuss the issue of life and death, and the Qingming Festival is one of the scenes that stimulate children to think about life and death.
Li Xiangping pointed out that the life etiquette of the Chinese is the most direct life education and life and death education; funeral and sacrifice ceremonies are the unique death education and life education of the Chinese, and they are also an important part of China's ethics education and filial piety education. Ancestor worship and ancestor worship during the Qingming Festival can be interpreted from a psychological point of view, which can give people positive psychological hints.
She analyzed that the spiritual core behind the ancestor worship ceremony is the nostalgia for relatives, the reverence for heaven, the responsibility for the family, and the transmission of life. There are a variety of life education topics that can be carried out during the Qingming Festival, including discussing and guiding the topic of death, understanding and teaching sacrificial rituals, telling ancestral stories and exploring family culture.
At the same time, the life education of mountains and rivers can be carried out during the Qingming outing. Through climbing, hiking, hiking, outing, kite flying, etc., walking among the natural mountains and rivers with the children, let the children feel the joy of life; can guide the children to combine the bright spring scenery with classical poetry to appreciate the beauty, enhance the children's perception of the beauty of the mountains and rivers and nature; lead the children to observe a flower, a grass, a tree and a leaf, guide the children to experience the mystery of life in the universe, and feel the diversity and richness of life.
