On April 27, the opening ceremony of the Tsinghua University Engineering Practice and Innovation Education Forum and Training Center was held in the Lee Shau Kee Science and Technology Building. Xiao Congzhen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Scientist of China Academy of Building Research, Xue Yongwei, Director of the Teaching and Research Department of Lenovo Global Learning Center, Han Hualong, Chairman of Hangzhou Jiuzhi Investment Management Co., Ltd., representatives of 1986 alumni, universities in Beijing, and representatives of cooperative enterprises attended the opening ceremony.
Li Shuangshou delivered a speech
Li Shuangshou, director of the Basic Industry Training Center of Tsinghua University, welcomed the alumni representatives, entrepreneur representatives and representatives of various universities who participated in the event, and said that as the most important engineering practice teaching base in the school, the construction of the training center has been resonating with the development of the school and society for more than 100 years.
Mentor appointment ceremony
At the opening ceremony, the appointment ceremony of tutors of Tsinghua University's National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base was held, and a total of 12 university education experts, investment experts and entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about education were hired as mentors who have long paid attention to and supported Tsinghua University's engineering practice and innovation education.
In the speech session, Xiao Congzhen, Yang Jianxin, deputy director of the training center, and Xue Yongwei respectively made reports on the topics of "Integrity and Innovation, Being an Engineer in the New Era", "Cultivating New Quality Productivity, Reconstructing the Engineering Training and Teaching System", and "School-Enterprise Cooperation, New Quality Productivity Talent Training Practice". Hanwha Long shared the theme of the event.
Chen Hongxu, General Manager of Yibin Fengchuan Power Technology Co., Ltd., Hu Mingxiang, Chairman of Wuxi Pangu New Energy Co., Ltd., and Zhang Ying, a 2019 undergraduate student of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, shared their thoughts on new quality productivity in the new era in combination with their respective entrepreneurial projects.

With the theme of "Developing New Quality Productivity and Cultivating New Workers", the series of activities to celebrate the school of the training center include the Tsinghua University Engineering Practice and Innovation Education Forum, the third Tsinghua University 1986 (1991) Alumni Award Fund "Tsinghua Craftsman Competition" to explore the new track finals, Celebrations such as the exhibition and award ceremony of outstanding achievements, the iCenter Open Day and Engineering Practice and Innovation Education Experience Activities, and the Future Outstanding Engineering Innovation Talent Training Seminar aim to showcase the outstanding achievements of Tsinghua University's innovation and entrepreneurship education, promote and inherit the "Tsinghua craftsman spirit", promote the cultivation of high-level and high-quality innovative talents at Tsinghua University, focus on major national strategic needs, and accelerate the development of new quality productivity.
