In order to deeply learn the lessons of fire accidents and effectively prevent and curb electric bicycle fire accidents, in the early stage, the Longyou County Emergency Management Bureau, together with the Longyou Brigade, conducted docking and communication on the special rectification of electric bicycles "knocking on the door".
During the period, the social workers took the village and community as the minimum grid, gave full play to the leading role of party members and cadres, popularized the hazards of electric bicycles "entering the building and entering the house", "people and vehicles in the same house", "flying wire charging" and illegal modification behaviors, improved the people's fire safety awareness and self-help and mutual aid ability, and eliminated the risk in the bud. In the process, it was found that there were still problems such as illegal parking, charging, and "going upstairs" of electric bicycles in individual communities, and the social workers immediately contacted the owner to request on-site rectification and carry out safety education for them. At the same time, the community property is reminded to strengthen self-inspection and self-correction of hidden dangers to strictly prevent fire accidents.
In this activity, more than 1,000 small warning cards for electric bicycles were distributed, which achieved good results, provided better fire safety knowledge and services for community residents, and jointly maintained the harmony and stability of the community.
